St. Louis Bar & Grill

This is the only St Louis location that I’ve ordered take out from that puts as many fries as you can count on your fingers, in what they consider a “meal.” And this isn’t a one time occurrence.

We showed up to this location with 25 people without a reservation and several kids - on a Friday night! Not only were they able to accommodate us, but they also went out of their way to provide exceptional service. The food came out fast and it was all great quality. There were plenty of options beyond just wings. The kids kept talking about their server Megan - what a wonderful experience! Well done! We will most definitely go back.

I waited for 20 minutes for them to call me for a table and they didn't. I went back and they told me to wait 20 more minutes. I waited half an hour. When I came back they told me to wait 10 minutes outside in a temperature of -10 degrees. I was with my 3 children, 9, 4 and 7 years old. I went to Moxies. This place is much better.

Went on a weekend for dinner. Wanted to order 1 lb of wings per person and saw they had a 2lb meal. Thought it’d save some $ but didn’t notice it only came with 1 side. We had the Cajun and Honey Garlic flavours. Service: Wasn’t overly crowded and was seated promptly. We were out on the patio and one of the staff kindly offered to adjust the umbrella to provide better shading from the sun. Helia took good care of the table by coming over to take orders, check on us in a timely manner, providing additional cutlery & napkins without us asking. Remembered specific instructions such as a salad with dressing on the side. Food: drinks and orders arrived promptly. Quality was good. Not much else to say as it was what you would expect. We weren’t rushed and enjoyed a pleasant evening.

We finished worked and wanted something to eat and decided to visit St. Luis at Fairview Mall 2lbs of wings was in promotion and we order that with extra dill sauce for the chips. For drinks my wife got a St. Louis Margarita and I a 7oz RR. Our server Delaney was awesome , very attentive and polite. We had a chance to speak to Fred the manager regarding the hot sauces and try a few including Hotter than Hell sauce. The restaurant was busy and overall received great service!!! 4.8 stars in my book … looking forward to taste and review other items in the menu.

Food During a lunch outing with friends, I opted for the fish tacos while my companions selected the boneless wings and the classic chicken and waffles. Each dish was served in satisfying portions, delivering the anticipated flavors and taste. The fish tacos were a delight, aligning perfectly with my expectations. However, my friends pointed out that their chicken and waffles were somewhat drowned in sauce, overshadowing the other flavors. The fries, intended to be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, missed the mark by being overly crispy throughout. A thoughtful touch was the provision of wipes, a detail often overlooked in similar eateries, enhancing the dining experience. Service Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted and seated, starting our experience on a positive note. Our server was both friendly and professional, efficiently taking our orders. There was a slight hiccup with forgetting to provide extra utensils, requiring several reminders before they were brought to our table. Despite this oversight, the service remained commendable overall. Atmosphere and Decor The space, while narrow, managed to accommodate plenty of seating without feeling overcrowded. True to its sports bar essence, numerous TVs were strategically placed around the venue, ensuring patrons could enjoy their favorite games. The ambiance was standard for a sports bar, with the addition of a 'modern jukebox' lending a contemporary touch to the traditional setting. Though nothing out of the ordinary, the atmosphere was comfortably inviting, making it a suitable backdrop for a casual dining experience.

It was such a busy Wednesday night, but our server Meghan was lovely and very energetic. Food was amazing. Crispy chicken filet, crispy chicken wings. The pork ribs were so tender and juicy. Served hot. I'd just wish the food portion could be bigger.

The Food is generally pretty good at this location but the service unfortunately is hit and miss. Not sure if they’re understaffed or something but one time the service was so slow we actually had to get up and leave. February 2023 update has the service getting a tad better at least the waitress we had this time was friendly and did a good job overall and the food was good too so up to a 4 star we go 👍🏼 Also their Dill sauce and Fries can’t be beat, their Wings are great and Boneless Chicken is pretty good too 👌🏼
