We came here for lunch and it seems the place isn’t too crowded but the services was slow. The prices for food don’t seem to do any justice to the quality of food. Amritsari Fish was anything but Amritsari to be precise. Chicken curry was a 3.5/5 and the Onion salad is so overpriced. $6 for just Onions only. Recommended : Drive a few kilometres away from here and find best Indian restaurants in Mississauga or Brampton.

Loved the ambience of the place. The food was more on the saltier side. We ordered Malai soya Chaap(3/10), chilly momos veg (6/10) Honey chilli cauliflower (8/10), Chicken chilli momo (6/10). We also ordered some dal and rice which was (5/10). Some of the momos were cold from the inside. Food took some time to come to the table.

Went for lunch and asked for non lunch menus items so got the feeling what I asked for was a little too fresh, if you get my meaning - made for the order, rather than prepped for the possibility of the order. Attendant was lovely food was good, it had come highly recommended and didn’t disappoint, but I can think of several better curries off the top of my head as you head into Missasaga. Still, likely good for the area.

It was my first time dining at Riyasat Restaurant and can honestly say, it was absolutely phenomenal! It was two of us on a Thursday evening. We were seated promptly and our server was a delight - informative and consistently checking in with us to ensure we had a great experience. We ordered an app (spinach Pakoras I think ), the Chili Chicken and Lamb Briyani with side sauces, onion salad, and naan. ALL were delicious, cooked and served to perfection. The portions are large (we had enough for lunch the next day). We did not feel rushed at all, which I loved. Many restaurants rush you to seat the next customer, or open up space should one arrive. The ambience was nice, elegant and traditional, not too loud= perfect. The prices were not exaggerated either. Two of us dined for $65.00!!! I highly recommend Riyasat. One of my fav Indian restaurants in all of Oakville. Will definitely be back, many, many times. If you love Indian cuisine, it’s a must, you will love it!

We dined at Riyasat Oakville for a birthday dinner. The ambiance is nice. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. It took a while to get the drinks and appetizers after we ordered (about 30 minutes) even though the place wasn't busy. The fried cauliflower (not pictured) was the tastiest thing we tried. The rest of the items were just ok. Overall, an average dining experience.
