Sparks Steakhouse Restaurant Niagara Falls

Their handmade bruschetta on their house made bread is fantastic and enough to feed the whole table. It is great to have a meal where you can tell the chef and the staff actually care about your meal and experience while there. We will be returning.

This place is now called “Sheikh Steakhouse” for some reason you can’t find that name on google yet as it rebranded and reopened under the new name 16 days ago according to the staff. It’s still the same owners as Sparks and apparently they own a few other restaurants. I usually don’t go this far out of my way to leave a review and usually prefer to either leave a positive review if it is good and just not leave a review if it was nothing special. This place was so bad though, that I need to leave this review. Was there with a large group of about 26 people so this isn’t just my feedback, but pretty unanimous from the whole group. Some of us sampled from each other so here goes… Caesar salad, stale croutons and soggy lettuce. Sriracha chicken sandwich, came cold for everyone that ordered that. Beef ribs which I ordered, worst beef ribs I ever tried. Anywhere else I tried it, usually falls off the bone, here it was chewy. Ribeye steak, not terrible as far as tenderness goes, but lacking any flavor whatsoever. Striploin steak, extremely salty. Fries and roasted potatoes were decent. Lobster and shrimp, chewy as rubber. Various $10 mocktails, all watery and lacking flavor. Asked for bread, said they stopped serving it since covid, asked for pickles, also they don’t have any. Keep in mind this is a restaurant serving steak and burgers that doesn’t carry pickles or bread. Service was friendly and accommodating, however when we expressed all of these concerns, they apologized but didn’t offer anything to make up for it. Not removing anything off the bill, not offering free dessert, drinks or coffee, no discount offered just offering to take the feedback into consideration. In fact what they did do was let us know that the undeserved tip was automatically included. Save your money, even a fast food place such as Burger King would have been money better spent.

By far the worst restaurant I ever tried! They serve me and my family after one hour. Fries were cold.! I was chewing rubber not a ribeye steak AAA cut as advertised ! Caesar salad was disgusting ! We asked the waiter to service us with some bread because the kids were extremely hungry after a long walk! He’s answer is (sorry we stopped serving bread after COVID-19)! The FORCE for theTip 20%! After all horrible experience, I paid $450 for a lousy food Mcdonald would be a better choice than this restaurant! I think they will close down soon be aware don’t go there! !

Love this place! My wife and I have gone to Niagara Canada the last two years in a row for our anniversary. We HAVE to stop here whenever we're in the area. I had the Stuffed Chicken and the wife had the Chicken and Ribs. The sauce on my chicken almost brought a tear to my eye it was so good. I went to culinary school and know what seasoning is. This place does too! Our waiter, Walter was great both times we have been here. He let us ask our "American" questions and explained some cultural stuff to us. My wife is a BBQ Connoisseur. So Walter showed us the Whiskey (Forty Creek) from the company that makes it. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a bottle to take back home. The chocolate cake was so good we had to stop back and get a slice to go, before we left town. Overall this is a great place with food and the atmosphere to boot!

Had dinner here! The food was amazing! The servers were wonderful! It took over an hour to get our meals, and very expensive! After we finished our dinners, they brought the bill, without asking if we wanted dessert. Other than the time it took it was a good meal!

Visited June 2024. Food was excellent, and cooked to perfection. Our server, Walter (I believe) was very attentive and friendly, but not to the point of being bothersome. While it is pricey, it is worth it. The old adage, you get what you pay for does shine true here. If you want a cheap meal, you can walk a few blocks to Applebee's and have a forgettable, average meal, but if you want a meal to remember, this is the restaurant for you

An over rated far over priced steak house. Empty tables should have been the clue but I missed it. Service was absent probably due to boredom. The setting: no bread and paper napkins in the restaurant that charges $60 for a steak. And don't expect the waiter to ask how dinner is because he doesn't. The food: Ok. Two steaks were cooked as liked and their dinners were good. Lobster Fettuccine was COMPLETELY without lobster. It was such a waste of money. The night was dampened by everything else it wasn't worth complaining. The fourth meal was an altered pasta dish. I say altered because there are no vegetarian meals. Sorry I have to edit the post. Dessert was chocolate cake. That is it. Take or leave it. We left it. Bonus. NO coffee, espresso or cappuccino. Can you believe it! I've been to HoJos for a better time. It is hard to recommend this place. The only positive was the two meat meals. But that is not enough to push it in the passing zone. Sorry it's not on my recommendation list.

Firstly, I would like to say the the customer service here is second to none! Walter treated us as if we were royalty. He took the time to explain our culinary choices in detail and followed up with us regularly to make sure our meals were satisfactory. The food....the bruschetta was fresh from scratch and is probably the best I've eaten; the buffalo wings were perfectly seasoned; the burger was thick and juicy and was freshly made to order using their own cuts of meat. The chicken sandwich I had was very tender and tasty and had a nice little kick of sriracha sauce. Fantastic experience! Too bad I never had the time to return and try a steak. Maybe next time!
