Spade Bar & Lounge

Went for dinner and live music. The music was good. However, we never received our food order, and we waited closed to 1.5 hours and still no food, so we left. Also, they had a menu for specialty drinks but we were told when we tried to order that the bartender was not ready to serve those types of drinks. We were told beer or pop. I don't recommend this place. Poorly managed, run, and organized. I will say, the waitress we did have was really good. She apologized. Had excellent customer service .

Our uncle's band was playing there boxing day so I invited 20 people to go. I made reservations over a week before the event (Dec.26th) When I arrived there was no tables reserved for me. My Family was spread out at different tables which we had to put together. I got there at 5:15 the bar was opened or ready to serve people. We ordered food around 6, well it's a good thing I fed my dad who 97 before we left home. The event finished at 8:30 and our food still wasn't served to us. They put some tablecloths on the tables that looked like they were pulled out of dirty laundry...all wrinkled up. In the bathroom there was no paper towels to wipe your hands,the bathroom was also fifty,didn't look like it was cleaned from the night before. When I ask to speak to the owner who was there and I explained that the service and cleanliness of his establishment was not good. He stated making excuses for everything that I mentioned, they opened late, they only have 2 cooks don't know what happen to my table, which I then told him it's not my problem. The servers hold have told us there was a 2hr wait for food. we canceled our order, then they came and ask why we canceled our food order and told us it was ready, we explained why and they brought out some pepper shrimp and fried won ton shrimp as complementary some dad can have something to eat. Totally unacceptable and they need to get more reliable people and pay them better.

Overall, the place is good. I was there to support my sister's band IMPAK, which played in support of a children's gift drive for Christmas. My biggest criticism is that customer service skills of the client facing staff need to improve!

Me and my husband went there for our 2 year wedding anniversary on September 17th. I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein and he ordered the Veggie Fried Rice. While our meals were being made, we played a game of pool. That was fun. When we got the meals, I noticed there was no chicken in my chow mein, so I told the lady about it. She was very nice and had it remade for me. And the food was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend going there, service is great, food is amazing and the prices are affordable! And go play a game of pool while you're at it!

Our Brampton & York Region family members always order delicious meals when visiting northeast Toronto. Compliments to the SPADE Chef who caters; listens to the customers' requests due to their spice sensitivity & allergies. Thank you for perfecting each dish! 5/5 stars!

I was hanging out with some friends and they mentioned a nice chill spot in Scarborough so I went along for the ride. There were two sections the indoor and outdoors. Both had different types of music. Inside was more chill with R&B type of vibes and outdoor was more dancehall vibes. The staff was really friendly, I wanted to try some food and one of the waitreses recommended the peppered shrimps. I also ordered a jerk chicken and festival. Shrimps were just ok, the jerk chicken was a no for me it was too wet, but the festivals were great . I would order the festival again, the others nope.

Surprised the place was empty on Friday at 8pm . Place was clean and very open concept.. we order deep fry chicken and shrimp wonton . It was pretty nice with its spicy hot sauce . Will come back to try its lunch special ..
