First time at southcote 53 for New Year's Day brunch and it was wonderful! Desiree. Our server was super friendly and so kind! She told us about trivia night and the drag shows so we will definitely be coming to check these both out! Looking forward to trying the homemade hamburgers!

A beautiful resturant in a fantastic location. Huge parking lot, so very easy to find parking. We stopped here on Monday night after a hike to tews and Webster, without a reservation they seated us right away. Our server was an absolute sweetheart. They had a Monday burger special. We got two burgers and two poutines for a great price. The food was delicious and they had a fantastic selection of beers on tap. A wonderful experience. If you're in the area check it out!!!

I had lunch with a friend of mine yesterday at Southcote. Was greeted promptly and seated in a quiet corner where we could talk. Our server was polite, efficient, courteous and handsome! Delicious lunch, wonderful atmosphere. Just a great restaurant all around. I have been eating there for 20 years and have taken many friends there. Keep up the good work Southcote!

Had dinner there with a group of friends and it was a perfect evening. Food was great...we all ordered different mains and no complaints among any of the group. Service was amazing....Crystal not only tended bar but made sure our group never had an empty glass nor waited for anything. She added to the experience by being very professional and cordial at the same time. Atmosphere was very comfortable as we got to keep an eye on leafs game while having a blast. Tons of parking too! I think we will all be back to try out one of their trivia or comic nights.

Went with large group for lunch. Plenty of room in a large side area. Gave plenty of time to mingle with old friends before meal. Good sized portions, presented well and nice variety to choose from. Easy to get to, plenty of parking for all.

We recently held an event at Southcote 53. Although we’ve never eaten here, we liked the location and the online menu offerings. When we arrived, Janis (our server) was setting up the room. She was so pleasant and helpful with any questions that we had. Although we had planned the timing of the event prior (speeches, games, food etc), we went over everything once again. Janis let us know that there was some flexibility in that regard. The food came out exactly when it was needed. Our guests remarked on how delicious it all was. When the food on a plate would dwindle, both Janis and Kristy (our other server) would swiftly replace them with full plates. Everything ran so smoothly and with great efficiency. Kristy and Janis were nearby whenever we needed them but I can honestly say, I didn’t need them unless I was ordering a drink! I would highly recommend this venue for an event. And if you’re lucky enough to have Janis and Kristy as your servers, I can promise you that you’ll be happy!!

I have visited Southcote 53 on a few occasions. The food and service is always great. We typically go for lunch and find it isn't too busy. They also have a large parking lot and patio. I would highly recommend a visit here.

We recently dined at Southcote 53 Tap and Grill and overall had a good experience. We sampled several dishes, from the Caesar salad to the Chicken + Brie melt, and found them all to have an acceptable taste. However, our experience with ordering drinks was a bit odd. Despite one of us clearly being over 30 years old, the waitress asked for ID. While we understand and respect the rules, this did make us feel a bit uncomfortable and like we didn't receive the full hospitality we expected. The manager did come over and explain the policy, which we appreciated, but it didn't change our initial impression. Despite this, we would still recommend Southcote 53 Tap and Grill if you're in the area and looking for good food.
