South St. Burger

I read so many positive reviews of this place and I was very eager to try it. My first visit was very underwhelming. Service was lackluster. The overall vibe of the staff was borderline depressing. The signature sauces have almost zero taste. The burger meat is plain and has no seasoning. There is a variety of toppings but many of them are repeated, unfortunately they also lack in taste. They have tall bottles of ginger ale and other beverages, but only offer very short straws that fall into the beverage. This is a pet peeve, but it's very annoying. I decided to give it a second try and this time the burger was worse. Can only be described as a complete disaster. These burgers need a lot of work.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a great experience. The moment I walked in, the staff welcomed me warmly, and you could tell they genuinely enjoy working together. It felt like a close-knit team, which made the whole visit pleasant. I ordered their poutine, and it didn’t disappoint. The fries were crispy, the gravy was rich, and the cheese curds were perfectly melted. It was exactly what I was craving! Overall, the combination of delicious food and a friendly staff makes this place worth a visit. I'll definitely be coming back to try more dishes!

We come here for lunch all the time and who i’m assuming is the manager(??) has been nothing but rude since the first time. I understand asking people to leave if they’re eating outside food inside the restaurant but lecturing and screaming at people isn’t okay. And then when someone doesn’t claim their food, screaming on the top of your lungs towards guests and other employees and yelling at a teenage girl about having trouble listening to him and being straight up disrespectful is now acceptable?? Food is good but we won’t be coming back.

It’s always a pleasure going to this specific South Street Burger. The manager is amazing and the staff is super nice. The lady and young fellow who served me made our burgers to perfection, for myself this is important as I often find I have to ask for more or less of an items As a mom of 4 they were very nice to my children as well- brownie point 😁. We will definitely be back. A++++ Food, Service and Atmosphere. Thank you 😊

I like that you can choose the toppings. Burger was ok, but not the best of the city as the slogan says at door. Fries was a bit oily. The hot dog sausage was smaller than the bun.

Service was quick and easy, and the staff were very friendly. The burger was great quality, and very tasty. The fries were quite good as well, although I wish I had ordered the waffle fries - not the restaurant's fault, as I realized too late that I was in the mood for waffle fries instead!

I came to get sweet potato fries for takeout. Paid $8.99 for a large box but it was barely half full. Isn’t this level of shrinkflation kind of embarrassing? At least fill the box if you are going to charge that much.

This establishment has gone down the drain. Order is always messed up. Quality of food is not good at all. They don't care when you complain. They either need to change their ways or shut down. Update: Food has gotten even worse. See pictures. Ingredients are worse, fries are inedible. Worst than stale McDonald's fries. This establishment should be ashamed!
