Souperlicious Oshawa

Had the wonderful opportunity to stop by Souperlicious today! Ordered the Hominy Porridge and Bake on the side. The hominy porridge was a nice thick consistency with a slight sweetness and warm spices. Great for the winter weather. The bake was light and fluffy with crispy exterior and great for dipping into the porridge. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. They were excited to explain a new menu offering in the new year. Will happily come back soon to try their ox tail soup and jerk chicken plates.

I've ordered from this restaurant a few times now, and I can't say enough how amazing the service is. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and they definitely go out of their way to make you feel like you're the only customer in the entire restaurant. Soup is made with love, and I appreciate that their menu is full every day, no matter what time of day you go (something I can't say about many Caribbean restaurants, unfortunately). I will certainly be returning for more good soups. Thank you, Souperlicious team!

I finally had the chance to visit this location. We ordered 3 large soups and a small curry goat bowl. Positives: The staff were warm and friendly, and the soups were flavorful. My husband was happy with his Goat soup, which was packed with a good balance of meat, dumplings, and veggies. Negatives: The curry goat bowl was sparse and not very tasty, not worth the price. My chicken and beef soup also felt sparse, as both had only 1 dumpling and 2 small pieces of meat. The chicken soup was packed with carrots and turnips, which I wasn't happy with. Overall, I'm glad I gave it a try, but I won't be returning. In my opinion, the Souperlicious franchise has become disappointing. All locations have been a big letdown. It's too bad because it started well.

Everyone there are so friendly and helpful! Our soups were beyond delicious, it got the jerk chicken soup and my roommate got the corn soup, we were both so happy with our choices. We have found our new soup place! Recommend highly

Had good experience. Customer service is good. Only thing I'd suggest if your going to open so early have some other breakfast option than just porridge. On this day I got 16oz cow foot soup. It was delicious.

Very tasty Caribbean soup at Souperlicious Oshawa! We tried the chicken and corn and both very hearty and tasty. The dumplings are huge and are a great accompaniment to the soup. The beef patty was also very good. As we now have a loyalty card, we will be back to try more.

Discovered this place yesterday when the amazing aroma drifted around the corner of the building. Picked up a banana porridge 5/5. 😋 Went back today and grabbed 2 more porridge. I'm looking forward to trying the soups as well. Customer service is a 10. Smiling faces and an instant greeting.
