Souperlicious

I am 80 years old. I have been supporting black businesses since the beginning of time, including souperlicius no matter whether the food was good or bad. But today was the last straw. Normally I'm not one to post, but this is really disappointing. The quality control is lacking and needs to be resolved. On top of that, they increase prices and then give less food. I ordered a large oxtail, about 20 dollars after taxes and was given the end of the ox tail with almost no meat, more bone and gravy then anything. I did call to let them know, however I was only told "you get six pieces, that's it". There was no remorse. Six pieces are six pieces regardless of what you get. I spent my money through Skip, which costs more. Souperlicious needs to improve their quality control. When serving the community, serve proper portions.

I went to Souperlicious for the 1st time and it was great. Funny that i have seen this establishment for years but never tried it until today. I am very glad i did. Great Jamaican Caribbean style food. I had the soup which was alot better than other places that I have been to. The staff was very pleasant and I even got a deal with my purchase without even asking. I will definitely return for more great food, If I really was to critique anything it would be the soup could've had a little more meat but that is just my preference really. I encourage all to visit Souperlicious and try their great soups

You can see why there's a line up at hours of the day. I got the peanut porridge for myself and my gf i got the chicken soup. The peanut porridge was absolutely as advertised. Creamy pudding like texture, very aromatic and full of flavor. It was a Lil too sweet for my liking but it was delicious. My gf said that the soup was very hearty and full of flavor. It was a very good sized portion for a large. She had it twice. I got a small but it a very good size serving. Staff were very helpful. Prices are excellent. Overall 10 outta 10. This will be the winter go to.

One of my favorite food places in Brampton. The lady I spoke with was respectful and helpful, I usually order for work and even when I am home. Chicken soup for the soul or red peas soup on a cold winter's Saturday brings back memories. My boss likes chicken soup. Green juice for the fasting patty for a snack refreshing D&G Ting on the run very refreshing. Koodo's to you guys respect.

First of all soup is amazing as always but my review is mainly about the customer service I received today at around 1545 hours. I came in hands full with my baby and the woman at the front was so nice and engaging with my baby and she greeted and helped me right away. I was in and out quick. This type of service really makes a difference as a mother. So shout out to the woman who was working on this exact day who made it so easy.

I love Souperlicious. Anything I’ve ever had is has been top notch, whether it’s the corn soup, red pea soup, chicken foot soup, the patties, the bowls all delicious. I will say this though…. Today I came in and asked for a Regular soup and a Large soup…. The women serving me must have said we only have small and large, however I didn’t hear that. What I heard was we have large so I got two large…. Wouldn’t it make more sense that I saw two sizes of containers on display and wanted the big sizes and small size? Okay not a big deal… So I get my two large soups… I drop one of the large red pea soups off to my girlfriend who wasn’t feeling well and then came home to eat my soup only to find the soup had 1 dumplin, only small piece of Oxtail and not much meat or other veggies…. And it was a fresh pot of soup that the lady brought out… I love Souperlicious but the servings have to be more consistent…. The photo is the one small bone from the one little piece of oxtail…

Ordered Corn Soup and Chicken soup through DoorDash, big chunks of food in the soup ( pics posted), ordered soups not curries. Called them and no reactions as if there was nothing wrong with it. This is no longer the same as I used to order before. Do not recommend it for those who like soft and mashed food pieces in soup. Sorry had to share this bad experience 😔

I like the concept of this Jamaican food spot, their focus of serving Jamaican soup. The chicken soup is my top choice. However, it's not just about the soup. I've also tried their jerk chicken burrito with rice and peas, which I would rate 9/10. The Hominy Corn Porridge deserves a perfect 10/10, and, of course, the patty, festival, and dumplings are must-haves. In winter, Im here several times a month because a nice bowl of soup with dumplin hits the spot. The only drawback is that if you go in the late afternoon or evening, they're likely to be out of soup.
