Soontorn Bahn Thai

Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor! My friends and I had a great time dining here. The prices were reasonable, except some dishes require you to order a separate side of noodles or rice, which I wasn't impressed by that.

One of the most decent Thai restaurants in the west end of the city. Spacious dining room layout with a relaxing atmosphere, attentative service, and traditional menu. The food was delicious, moderate sized portions, and reasonable prices.

Excellent service and delicious fresh food. We were a large group and were put in an intimate cozy area that allowed for conversation. We ordered an assortment of food and it was all delicious. Server recommended the tamarind shrimp and it was amazing!! Green curry chicken was delish. Fresh rolls were good. Pad Thai was ok, I found it a bit too mushy for my taste. Exceptional service refilling drinks and making sure we were happy.

I recently went to Soontorn Bahn Thai with friends for lunch. The restaurant has a nice interior, but I found it a bit dark, making it challenging to read the menu without using my phone's light. The service was a bit slow, especially considering the place was relatively empty, with only 2 other tables occupied besides ours. However, the redeeming factor was the delicious food they served. The flavors were impressive, and the dishes were well-prepared. Despite this, I'm uncertain if I would give it another try. The overall experience, considering the service, ambiance, and price, left me somewhat hesitant to return. I might explore other options in the future for a more satisfying dining experience.

Excellent food, service, and a cozy environment outside in the courtyard while inside is very unique but pretty dark (mood vibes). Food was cooked perfectly but note they aren’t large portions like you’d expect at a fast food Thai stall. Might’ve been the best Pad Thai I’ve had… nothing was overall spicy so great for me personally (maybe not for others). Fair prices and everyone there was very kind and helpful throughout our meal! Definitely going back and I’m from Toronto!

Halal place - great appeal. BUT, mismanagement at its level best. There were only one or two servers, burning their heels to serve the whole restaurant of may be 40-50 customers. Food took about 45 minutes to be served, the salads had no nuts, the curries had no nuts. Food still tasted great but if this restaurant calls themselves a Thai restaurant, they should probably take that honor off of their schedule and understanding. I would give the customer experience a nil, and overall rating a 2, but it is what it is.. Food tasting absolutely amazing, and the chef of the house should get bonus or promotion.
