SOL Cafe & Lounge

Had a night out at Sol Cafe and Lounge, and while there were definitely some highlights, a few things didn’t sit right with us. Here’s the scoop: First off, gotta give credit where it’s due—the staff were super welcoming right from the start. The security guy at the front was friendly and made us feel at home, which set the tone for the evening. Now, onto the menu... honestly, it was a bit of a letdown. It didn’t have much detail about what you’re actually ordering—no ingredients listed, no sizes mentioned. Plus, the prices didn’t feel reasonable or proportionate to what you got. For example, I ordered a platter of mezze that wasn’t even on the menu and nearly fell off my chair when the bill came—$50! It even had onions in it, which might not be everyone’s thing (and could be an allergy issue for some). A heads-up on details like that would go a long way. When we booked our table, we were told there was no entrance fee, but each person needed to order a minimum of $50, which sounded fair enough. What we didn’t expect was the surprise gratuity charge of $22 added for two of us. It wasn’t mentioned during the reservation, and honestly, it felt unreasonably high—especially since we were a group of five, not some massive party where this kind of charge might make sense. Tips should always be optional, based on the customer’s experience, not just tacked on without notice. The vibe in the place was nice—definitely had potential—but the sound was a bit much. It was way too loud, like, consistently above a healthy decibel level. It made it almost impossible to have a decent chat without shouting. And the sound quality? Not great. It was all bass, all the time, which got tiring fast. A bit of variety and balance would’ve been a huge improvement. Overall, it felt like the place could be a hit with some adjustments. Loved the friendly staff and the vibe, but the menu, pricing, and sound experience definitely need some work. Hope they take this feedback on board because it’d be great to see the place live up to its potential!

We had a birthday party at Sol Cafe, and everything was perfect! The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the music created a great party vibe. The shisha was smooth and flavorful, one of the best we’ve had. The staff went out of their way to make the night special. Thank you, Sol Cafe and Parham, for an unforgettable celebration!

Last night, I had an amazing experience at Sole Cafe! The food, the shisha and the service were excellent. The staff were very respectful and attentive. I also really enjoyed the music and the atmosphere. I highly recommend this place for a fun night out!

I had an amazing experience at Sol Cafe & Lounge. We were group of 14 people, and we all enjoyed the Halloween event! The special platter was a great starter and everything in the platter was fresh (fresh fruits, nuts, cold cuts ..). We ordered the dinner as well (burger sliders , chicken souvlaki, salads, shrimps, fries). The food was absolutely delicious and the owner was generous about the portion. The service was top-notch and they did take a good care of all guests. The owner was nice, polite and very attentive and made great recommendations. We got a bottle service and their service was great and professional. The ambiance was nice and chic . The Halloween decorations and dancers were fun , and the Persian music played by the great Djs was plus. I highly recommend this place for celebrating an occasion, having party or fun night full of joy. .

I am so sad to share but I think this might help other people understand better their expectations and be aware of the services that they would receive. First of all, I have to say that we got so embarrassed when the Security asked us to check Ladiy's purses as we went to a restaurant. It was shocking how he was impolite. I ordered 2lb wings and I was so surprised when saw my plate with only a few pieces of potato fries and 13 pieces of dried and burned wings for 30$. I bet that you have been to other places such as Wild Wings or St.Louise and you know 2lb wings is not 12 pieces of wings. After we were forced to spend 50 $ before taxes and other charges for Each Person; we found out that we got 20 bucks extra for a bottle of wine. I also asked for water for our table and the server brought a small bottle of water with one cup. When I asked for tap water, she said "water in the jar is only for people who ordered alcoholic drinks". Despite having a bottle of wine she refused to bring us even tap water which is free in any restaurant. They also charged 50 bucks for gratitude after. The dancer was not professional and not even choreographed with music. Not worth trying at all.

I went to SOL , and it was amazing! The place is super fancy, and they have a great shisha lounge. The shisha flavors were awesome, and the staff was really nice. The food was delicious, it's totally worth it for a special night out. Very happy to have this option for weekends. Update: We had a great night with friends for x times again, Maya was very nice and provided great service
