It’s unreal that you order a Greek salad and they give you a teaspoon of feta cheese on it Although I’ve mentioned this to them many times. It’s coming across. as cheaper and cheaper at every visit.. it’s very annoying, because the food is actually pretty good. They just gotta show you better value for your dollars.

Sofram Thornhill is a fantastic spot for Turkish and Israeli mixed food. The cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff make you feel right at home. The service is excellent—friendly, attentive, and always ready to offer helpful recommendations. The staff clearly care about making sure every guest has a great experience. The menu is filled with flavorful dishes, like delicious kebabs, fresh salads, and tasty hummus. Everything is well-prepared and full of authentic Middle Eastern flavors. If you’re in the area and looking for a great meal, Sofram Thornhill is a must-try!

Nice family style restaurants. My food came out cold but was quickly replaced with no other issues or concerns. Our server worked his ass off as the restaurant appeared to be under staffed. He did an excellent job at ensuring we had everything we needed.

When we arrived at Sofram Restaurant at 8:30 p.m., we were informed by the waitress that they were closing at 9 p.m., even though the Google listing clearly states they’re open until 9:30 p.m. This discrepancy was disappointing. Additionally, the waitstaff added a tip to the bill without giving us the option to choose the amount ourselves, which felt unfair. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations either, leaving the rest of the family dissatisfied. We won’t be returning to this restaurant.

We hadn’t been to Sofram in years. At the recommendation of a friend we went there over the long weekend and we weren’t disappointed. The portions were generous and the food was delicious..

Overall cost : $80 with tip. First time visiting this place. Went to the thornhill location around 2 pm. I guess we went there when there was no table service or perhaps their system is different from other regular joints. So we had to order at the counter and pay for it and tell them if we are eating in or taking out. We paid and told the girl we are eating in. No issues so far. The girl was patient and explained the menu and the combos and tone was friendly and pleasant. The only issue? When we got our food, they decided to pack it for take out even though we told them, we are seated at a certain table and would like to eat in. Guess the couple of servers available at the time didn’t want to serve us? Created a lot of hassle as they had packed everything in plastic containers and we only had plastic cutlery. We ended up eating in in the plastic containers. The food was not bad, although I had asked for my lamb to be medium and I think they made it well done or at least that’s what I felt with the texture. The bread we got was really soft and I really loved the hot mushrooms with humus. The falafel with rice was not bad but nothing special about it. The place is very clean and it’s got ample parking as it’s in a plaza. Overall I came out of the place with a rather bad taste in my mouth with regards to the whole experience but I would def not discourage anyone from visiting this place and try it out if they are inclined for some Mediterranean food and if they can’t find any good Greek alternatives around.

Used to love this place... Service was poor.. order came wrong. Server blamed the kitchen...Soup was cold. Diet Coke was warm. Lamb kebab was burnt to a crisp.. perhaps this was our last trip here....

Food is just alright. The prices are quite high. 25$ for a chicken schnitzel with 1 side and house salad. The side was pretty bad in my opinion. 1 kafta kebab for 20$ with extremely plain rice and house salad. The kafta tasted exactly like the burger meat from Harvey’s weirdly enough. The salad dressing was the best part of the meal by far. We got 1 piece of pita bread we had to share among 2 people. 1 pita per meal seems fair, no? It’s just very underwhelming for the price. A very average meal that was kind of bland. 1.99$ extra for Israeli salad instead of house seems like a money grab. 3$ for a can of coke is also a lot. Just a meal you eat and go, well it was food. I wouldn’t recommend here for the price or quality.
