The pasta and pancakes with ricotta were really good! A bit pricy but for the location and vibes, it was worth the trip. Great for photos and big get togethers! Only thing is the waiters seemed a bit impatient and rude but the rest was great!

We visited Sofia in Yorkville for brunch to celebrate my sister-in-law’s birthday, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Since we were among the first reservations of the day, the restaurant wasn’t busy, but the service still stood out from the moment we walked in. The hostess greeted us warmly with genuine eye contact and even coat-checked our jackets—a thoughtful touch, especially during the winter months when heavy coats can be a hassle. We were promptly escorted to a clean, spacious table, and the restaurant’s beautifully lit interior and elegant décor set the perfect tone for the occasion. Our server was outstanding, providing five-star service throughout our visit. He anticipated every need, ensuring our experience was seamless. One detail I especially appreciated was the replacement of cutlery between courses—a small but significant gesture that many restaurants overlook. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. Each dish was meticulously prepared and beautifully presented, showcasing the care and attention to detail that went into the menu. I’m already looking forward to returning for dinner and experiencing more of what Sofia has to offer. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an elevated dining experience in Yorkville!

Sofia is a beautiful upscale Italian restaurant that truly impressed me. The food was amazing, and the service was top-notch. I had the ala vodka pasta, which was absolutely delicious, paired with a side of crispy, flavorful potatoes. For dessert, I tried the tiramisu, and it was heavenly. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and presented. The portions were decent, considering the upscale nature of the restaurant, though a bit smaller than what you might expect for the price. That said, the quality more than made up for it. One thing to note is that the menu has limited vegetarian options, so I wouldn’t strongly recommend it for those with dietary restrictions. However, if that’s not a concern, the overall experience, from the ambiance to the food and service, is wonderful. I’m not entirely sure if I’ll return due to the limited vegetarian choices, but I’m glad I gave it a try!

I celebrated my birthday at this Italian restaurant, and it was perfect! The warm, elegant ambiance set the tone for a special evening. I had been wanting to go to this restaurant for months and finally I was able to go a few days ago. The food was absolutely delicious and the vibes were immaculate. It’s a really great place to go people watching because there are all types of groups that come to this restaurant. The wine was also extremely delicious and some of the bottles are actually pretty affordable. My friends and I also went walking around afterwards right outside And got ice cream and did shopping and it was awesome because it’s such a great location as well.

Outstanding, as soon as we arrived for dinner we were served with amazing enthusiasm. Our waiter, Kelly, was astonishing, he gave us amazing suggestions which we put our full trust in and it did not disappoint. We started with a beautiful octopus starter before a mouthwatering porterhouse steak which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Kelly was sure to give us stunning information about the food that we ordered with great enthusiasm. The atmosphere was beautiful and Overall the perfect experience, I would fully recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I visited for brunch over the weekend. The food quality was excellent, the coffee was average, and the service was okay. We sat at the front of the restaurant outside, but the patio space in the back looked more appealing.

When you think of dining in Yorkville - you think fancy and luxurious and tasting sizes portions so I was pleasantly surprised by the size of their dishes! Overall the food was very good - the lobster pasta and porter house steak were the winners of the night. Pasta was fresh and flavours were classic. Great dining experience with elevated touches on classic flavours - you get a taste of home still while enjoying a little fancy Yorkville luxury.
