First, the food tasted great. I got the junk yard dog and it was delicious. It smelled awful though. I’m not Canadian, so I’m not sure what poutine is supposed to smell like. I know the McDonalds version we got yesterday did not have an odor. I’m hoping it was just the combo of things on the poutine that made it smell funky.

Smoke’s Poutinerie offers an outstanding dining experience! The food is simply amazing, with the perfect combination of crispy, golden fries topped with rich, flavorful gravy. Every bite is a comforting delight, and the variety of poutine options caters to every taste. The restaurant itself is spotless, with a welcoming and clean atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive vibe. If you’re craving a delicious, satisfying meal in a pristine setting, Smoke’s Poutinerie is the place to go! Highly recommend for anyone who loves great food and cleanliness.

It is a fast food chain in Canada. The food is great, Canadian Poutine. The atmosphere is fast food quaint. The service was quick and friendly.

Smokes should be embarrassed by this outlet, it’s rundown, dirty and in need of a visit from the health inspector . Ordered a Traditional Poutine, no squeaky curds just gloooy melted cheese, salty gravy and hardly a full chip in the box … mostly thin strips of skin and slivers of old potato . Brown and greying potato that tasted old and stale, like they had been re-heated in the fryer . Truly vile .

First review I’ve had less than 5 stars. The store is cool and decked out in Canadian style decor. Funny gfx flash across the menu screen like a delorean amongst others. Food came out quick and piping hot. I have to say it was not my favorite poutine. The flavor was a little too smokey for me, but if that’s your thing then I’m sure you would love this place. The best I’ve had since visiting Canada is NYC fries.

It was all right, reminded me a lot of like Chick-fil-A, but I thought the Nashville hot would actually be hot. It tasted more like barbecue sauce than hot to me.

From my point of view this is a tourist trap! All tables had been dirty, just one man working here who had to cashier and cook at the same time. Not hygienic at all as he went after taking the order without wearing any gloves into the kitchen. The poutine was absolutely not good. 13,55 $ for fries with no good taste. The store is full with tourists and the price is much higher than somewhere else. Avoid going here! This is not Canadian like.

A mediocre poutine place. A classic poutine is quite expensive relative to other places in the city. The quality wasn’t bad, the cheese curds were plentiful and nice while the gravy was adequate enough to fill my portion. Fries were not good though, cooked too well done and tasted old. After finishing it, a weird aftertaste lingers in your mouth.
