A serendipitous find when staying nearby on a business trip, I would even endure Toronto traffic to return when staying farther away. Every aspect of dining here was top notch. The service was wonderful, the food was out of this world, and everyone made us feel like we were guests being welcomed into their home.

I can confidently say this is by far the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to! I’ve visited countless Italian restaurants across Vaughan, but nothing compares to the authentic flavors and experience here. The food tasted exactly like the incredible meals I had during my time in Italy! The hospitality was second to none – it felt like being welcomed into a family, and the staff genuinely made the whole dining experience special. I highly, highly recommend Smoke and Mirrors to anyone craving true Italian cuisine. After experiencing this, I honestly don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else for Italian food again. This is hands-down my new go-to spot!

My husband and I dined with another couple last night and we were blown away by the service and yummy food. We were greeted and taken care of as soon as we arrived. Our waitress was was super friendly, so polite and very helpful all night. She even suggested a few items off-menu based on our cravings. After ordering they brought a plate of bread, parmigiano and olives to the table with olive oil and a deliciously sweet balsamic vinegar - they even refilled the bread without asking which was much appreciated. Then we were spoiled with a complimentary treat of a fig with balsamic glaze and a dollop of mascarpone - that was a nice surprise. By the time our mains came we were already getting full but we are it all up with gusto as everything was delicious! We had the nduja and burrata pizza, the potato truffle pizza, mushroom ravioli and prime rib - all were amazing. Even the desserts were fantastic! The coconut cream pie was my fave! Chef made an appearance at the end of the night which was so lovely. Genuinely wanted to know if we enjoyed and he had a massive smile on his face the whole time. It was a great experience. We will definitely be back!

I recently celebrated my birthday at Smoke and Mirrors, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional! From the outstanding service to the amazing food and drinks, everything exceeded my expectations. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a great dining experience. This place is truly a hidden gem, and we’ll definitely be returning!

New to be Vaughan hot spot. Small but happening new restaurant opening in the area serving beyond just Italian. From the amazing pasta to the perfect steak the food here is cooked perfectly and served with a nice presentation. Great small but effective wine selection. The decor is modern and classy. The service and staff are first class. A nice night out with a date night for under $200. Gem of a spot. Not such an obvious location.

I saw this restaurant as I was driving by, decided to give it a try and wow, what a wonderful hidden gem this is. The chef is a great person with some serious experience, who delivers world class tasting dishes sprinkled with high end service. Definitely Michelin guide worthy. Even the plates, glasses and cutlery - all were of high quality and style. I recommend trying this place out, you won't regret it.

What a hidden gem ! It's always a privilege to eat at a great restaurant, this new restaurant was no exception. If you love Italian food, great ambience, great service and amazing food, then this place is definitely for you. From the antipasto to dessert it was a wonderful experience. Chef/owner George is super friendly and talented. His signature Key Lime Pie is so delicious that is something to die for

What a great place for a date night! Service was wonderful. The chef comes out to great you and the atmosphere is perfect. The presentation of the food was picture perfect and the food tasted amazing! You must try their mushroom risotto, beats all other risottos I’ve ever had! Their Desserts were on another level! The bread pudding was to die for! This is a must try place and we will definately come again!
