I am happy about Smart and Morris Jamaica Takeout. I have seen this restaurant many times on my travel but the location is busy and parking can be tight. This day I decided to UBER Pick up and I parked in the Green P parking down the street. It was quite a walk but, nothing like a nice walk and get some exercise. I had to wait a while but my main observation is service and good food. I ordered big! I ordered an Oxtail Dinner (Large), Fried Chicken Dinner (Large), Fried Plantain (4pcs), 1 Pasta Salad (Medium) and a Pineapple Soda. The food is delicious! It was worth the wait I put in waiting for it. The people who work there are amazing as well they had a smile and a welcome which was grand for me. I enjoyed the Pasta Salad it just blended well with the Oxtail and I was just happy I made the effort to come here. My bill was over seventy but the food was top! I will return and I ask others to visit and enjoy. The soup is delicious as well. Thank you Smart and Morris great food!!!!

The foods delicious, it tastes like a nice warm hug ! Worth every penny. I’m never on time for steam dumplings hahah one day!! (I had the oxtail n butter beans) Also the pepper sauce is nice, it’s a staple pepper sauce in my house now. always have to have a bottle when it’s available for sale

Absolutely so grateful to God I found this place! Best curry chicken I have ever had, so tender and not spicy, but flavorful. Annet the owner even went out of her way to prepare a makeshift salad because I couldn't have rice — just outstanding service with a smile. Highly recommend their chicken patties as well!

Food was tasty 😋 I like a creamy coleslaw, the jerk chicken 9/10 nice taste you get that smokey flavor, ackee and saltfish was oily but tasty over all we give this place a 8/10

Loved it! Best jerk chicken I’ve found downtown in a minute! Enough chicken, not drowning in oil, got that home cooked vibe and feeling. Coleslaw isn’t drowning in mayonnaise it’s fresh and bright, and the energy and service of Annette and Tanya are so welcoming and uplifting. I’ll be back!

Wanted to try this new spot and wasn’t disappointment. The jerk chicken was fall off the bone and cooked perfectly, the rice was delicious and homemade hot sauce is a nice kick of heat. I think the jerk could’ve been quite a bit spicer but still really enjoyed it and will be back.
