Awesome ambiance and food. Had our daughter's wedding reception there in the summer and decided to end the year with a family dinner at the restaurant. Very lovely decor and great Italian cuisine!

The food was delicious!!! Everything we had was amazing!! The people plus the atmosphere is so pleasing!! It's gonna be my next go to place everytime I'm out with friends or family and also it's perfect date spot!! To be honest the best food i had since i arrived in canada!!❤️❤️

The best Italian restaurant I've been in downtown Toronto. My girlfriend and I wanted to go on a date night and we had seen this place from outside and just thought to give it a chance and boy oh boy it was worth every penny!! The saffron risotto balls were just out of this place and it was the first time that I had tried it and same was with the margarita pizza and then they hit it out of the park with the lava cake topped with vanilla ice cream . Anybody who wants to have a perfect date night with food to crave for , please come here and on the top of that the lady who was waiting us was the best host . Just loved it !!

My husband and I had a great time on the patio! I had the Pollo Limone which was fantastic and just the right amount of food. The atmosphere was lovely, I really liked the flower wall for taking pictures to mark a special occasion. All around great time here. Having said that, it's pretty pricey so it's good for a nice treat every once in a while!

food tastes great, however, slow service and one server for the entire restaurant. Portions much smaller than expected. Espresso martini was good. I don’t recommend the Cesar salad. Procuitto salad had great dressing. Note; parm is an additional $2. Need to do 3-4 courses to feel satisfied. Pretty ambiance.

The mushroom ravioli is what drew us here from other reviews and we were glad it did! Truly excellent food. One of the best Caesar salads I've ever had. My pal had the tomato soup and said it was delicious. The eggplant parm is really special. Perfect negroni. The sports on the huge TV was kind of weird/distracting from a place that had such nice decor and atmosphere otherwise.

We went there to celebrate my wife’s birthday 🎂 in a group of 4 with a kid. Due to some festival rituals back in india, we chose to order only veggie dishes and to our surprise we all liked the ordered items - Truffle Mushroom Ravioli, Classic Margarita Pizza , Parmesan Fries & Roasted Tomato Soup. The restaurant did serve a complimentary brownie cake at the end for the celebration 🎉 The service was great and would love to go back again 😀😋😋

Lovely dinner at Slate. Three courses and all of them were delicious. The place was busy but the service was great none the less. The pasta and pizza were well made and the chicken parmigiana had a great flavor with a little kick to it. The desserts were both a great end to the meal. The cheesecake was light and fluffy while the lava cake was deep and delicious.
