Wasn’t especially hungry but the poutine was just right. Menu looked good. Great little old style diner in the heart of Parkdale. I think this place might be kind of famous…? Lots of yummy looking specials (like avocado toast with arugula and other such stuff) plus all the old standbys breakfasts. I am curious as to the quality of the hollandaise sauce🤔 … would like to return.

Cozy place, diner style, good to drop in and have an unpretentious diner kitchen style bite to eat. The decor still feels like it hasn't been updated for half a decade. Love it

Was a good atmosphere and service. I think the steak was a bit lacking. It was a bit dry, well done and not the best cut of meat for a steak.

Food is good, but would be nice if the servers did a "last call" for food before the kitchen closes at 3. Maybe at 2:45? Wanted to order more food, and without knowing, the kitchen was closed until 5. Also servers need to be more attentive to their tables. The server disappeared after dropping the food. Then reappeared after 3, and when trying to order more food, told me the kitchen closed 20 minutes ago.

Glad to have visited this diner, that seems like a staple in the Parkdale area. Came on a Sunday night in a group of 4, diner appeared surprisingly busy ~75% capacity. Service was great, we all ordered the fried chicken sandwich which i found easily on par with other spots in TO. Recommend others check this out if passing through

DO NOT GO HERE... Unless you want exactly what you would expect from a pub/diner that has been open for a while. Nostalgic decor, solid food and decent service. Loved the bottomless coffee for brunch; they never let my cup get empty.

A gem! The vegan food is really good, there are always vegan options from the menu (Brussels sprouts, fried & gravy, veggie burger), and a vegan special that is thoughtful and satisfying (often a soup and a main dish), + choice of hot sauces! Not sure about the rest of the menu, but there are always people eating there at any time of the day. The team working there is friendly and helpful. The ambience is like no other, it’s cosy, welcoming, comfortable and it’s one of the few places that has perfect lighting in my opinion. It can get very busy especially at the weekend and for weekend brunch.

My feet ached from walking, I was hungry, and a single female diner. The sign looked like just the right place to slide into a greasy-spoon, where I could spread out at a big empty booth, for a burger and fries. I did NOT expect this dim, softly-lit place, packed on a weekday night. As I viewed customers of all ages, at an assortment of table sizes, engaged so warmly under the festive lights, I thought they must all be locals. Yet the incredibly experienced waitress gave me an equal service and a kind welcome. I didn't expect the prices, but I also didn't expect the cocktail to be so good, and the chicken tortilla to be so well-presented and tasty. What a nice surprise.
