We are SO glad we found this place! Our family is of Lebanese heritage and it's been such a struggle to find excellent, genuine Middle Eastern cuisine in the Barrie area. Sinbad definitely nails it! We had the restaurant cater our recent Thanksgiving dinner to rave reviews. The manakeesh (za'aatar, red pepper, meat and spinach versions) were the best we've had in the GTA. All the dinner options we ordered were excellent and a special order of their stuffed zucchini was actually better than what my mom used to make. Highly recommend!!

Really good food. Have been twice now. The first time during their opening and had two wraps. One chicken and one beef. Both Delish. The second time I did a beef shawarma plate and a za’atar manakeesh. The manakeesh was really good and had great flavour. The shawarma plate was good but not great. The beef was really great quality, tasty fries, simple rice. However overall there wasn’t a lot of flavour and very minimal sauce. I don’t want it drowning in sauce but it definitely needed more that a light drizzle. Overall will come again and hoping to try some new and different foods as well.

I catered my husband’s 60th bday party!! Food was amazing…my guests (all ages from my son and his friends - 22 to 50’s and 60’s) raved about the food! Shwarma - beef and chicken trays were delicious! Presentation was beautiful and far exceeded my expectations!! Sharif was very accommodating of a few allergies and wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend.

I recently had lunch at Sinbad Restaurant in Barrie, and it was an exceptional experience. The food was simply amazing. The manakeesh was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, offering a delightful blend of flavors. The baba ghanoush was spectacular, with a rich, smoky taste and creamy texture that was truly unforgettable. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. If you’re in Barrie and looking for a fantastic lunch spot, I highly recommend visiting Sinbad. You won’t be disappointed!

Delicious food and very pleasant service. Baba Ghanoosh is phenomenal, especially with Sinbad’s home-made bread. The mini Mankeesh is super delicious. I recommend Sinbad to everyone. I give them 7 stars because they certainly deserve it.

Today I had the most delicious chicken shawarma meal (chicken on rice) and the most incredibly delicious MANAKEESH!! (Beef Manakeesh is so delicious) Since I moved to Barrie area 10 years ago.. the staff are so generous, kind and welcoming! Loved the place, highly recommended! Don’t miss out on the 50% off shawarma wraps and Manakeesh bye two get third for free!

This bakery just opened up, and it's worth it. I enjoyed the traditional taste the of beef manakeesh, cheese, and notably the zaatar with the veggies. I was there at 1030 a.m so the chicken shwarma spit was not ready yet, definitely will have to go back to try their shwarmas! Love Mediterranean food and glad they opened up in Barrie. 10++

Amazing customer service and clearly cares alot about out bringing healthy options to the community! The Baklava is to die for Everything was made fresh and tasted well seasoned and cooked. The manakeesh (small pizzas) were amazing!!!
