Tried the gamjatang (20 w/tax) and it did not disappoint! Generous serving of yummy pork bones (has a lot of meat on it still) with a side of black rice and kimchi. You can even see them prep it over the counter. Will definitely order this again. Just wish their space was bigger for people who want to dine in 🙂

Agree with other reviews stating very home cook comfort food feeling, we ended up ordering 5 items on their menu, nothing disappointed, all was very good, even the side dishes were great. We will differently visit again when in the area! Edit: Aug.23, 2024 Drove 45mins to return here for more, the food does not disappoint, the staff (husband and wife?) very nice and friendly, gave good portions, and greeted with a smile even a long day and we arrive at their closing time ~9pm. Thank you again Simply Kitchen!

Bulgogi and Japchae are delightful choices! While the restaurant has limited space for dining in, they're perfect for a to-go order!

This bibimbap was so good! Packed with veggies: radish, mushroom, carrots, cucumber and some beef and egg, under a bed of purple rice. I don’t like purple rice but this place makes it so good. Such a hidden gem for sure. I’ve been coming back for a few days now!

visit: july 14 friday around 630pm i tried the bibimbap and the japchae (chapchae?) and id recommend the latter over the former. portioning is awesome but the bibimbap could use a bit more of something.. -I'm thinking beef, but it may be something else. i guess one could only expect so much if its in a take out container. bibimbap is a 3 for me, I've had worse.. also better. for its price, not bad i suppose. the chapchae is very good though, enough to share. and for some reason they give rice and kimchi for a side.. not the best kimchi but hey, it's free. a 4 out of 5 for chapchae. i would try this place again if I'm around. nice people running the shop. barely a place to eat, its for take out and pick up really. seating is a bar table facing the glass/outside and only for two pax. i dont think my friend enjoyed his donbokki or something, not sure what it's called.

A small takeout spot offering variety of Korean foods. The owner was nice and is a great cook as the food was great. Love the purple rice and portions.

Updated review: Recently had the Bibimbap and it was really delicious as well! Wish I could have taken a picture but I was so hungry, next time I will be sure to post more pictures. Old Review: Re-opened under new management and serving authentic Korean cuisine. The owners are really nice and the food is tasty. I only tried the Japchae and Kimchi so far but they were both really good 🥰 I’ll definitely be back to try some more dishes.
