Good hotpot restaurant with an unorthodox twist. Reasonably priced buffet with a treadmill moving in front of you while dining. It’s like a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but for hotpot!

The food was good, had the bone soup, the conveyor belts are a fun touch to keep food moving. The only disappointment was the manager DEMANDING tips after we paid… If you want tips, put up a tip jar, give me the machine, but service was not exceptional/ of good enough quality to garner a tip. Come here with paying via card/ debit in the future, avoid cash.

Such a cute way to eat hotpot! All the food you want comes around on a belt. The soup bases are extremely basic and not to complex. They offer ingredients for a sauce mix as well. I would say for a group date night it's a great way to go about.

My husband and I visited Side by Side Hotpot for a casual lunch in Markham. The service was wonderful and the staff were super accommodating while teaching us how Hotpot works! We don’t speak Mandarin or Cantonese, yet our server was very patient with us and even used Google Translate to ensure we were taken care of. She was willing to spend extra time with our table and really put in the effort. We’re so thankful! The conveyer belt winds throughout the restaurant and passes by each table with various ingredients that customers may want to add to their soups. This was really cool! The food itself was descent and there’s a section to create your own dipping sauces. The menu is easy to understand and has English titles written in smaller font. Price is a bit high, although it was nice to visit for the experience. We’d love to come by again next time we’re in the area!

Hidden gem! Exceptional service with a unique and fun concept. Opted for the light spicy and pepper corn soup bases—delicious! Reasonable prices; spent $45 + tips on a delightful weekday lunch, including a beer. Definitely planning to return!

Definitely a unique hotpot experience. Server was nice and patient in explaning the system to us. The AYCE includes meat which they will give you when you ask, but each portion is quite generous.The mushroom soup base was quite flavorful. Very interesting concept, and cheaper than others.

First time seeing and trying a convoy Hotpot and was a good experience from that. Remind me the sushi style. Got the table as soon as me and my friend arrived and the waitress explained how it works and how to get the sauces. Food are really good and tasty hope the portion on the bowls was a bit more bigger by having more pieces of veggies or meat inside. Really good beef slices here and fresh as well. Definitely it worth the visit here. The chicken soup base was really rich and silky but the spice one was a bit oily and very spice as my friend mentioned to me. There are some Skewers as well to grab and use but we decided to get the food from the convoy to have a better experience on it. Definitely I recommend this place.

Interesting experience with conveyor belt hotpot. Good selection of veggies, and for meats they can bring you full plates instead of having to wait for small portions to come through the belt. Food seems fresh and clean. Desserts not available. Reasonable price. Only takes cash or debit - credit cards not accepted.
