Follow @bredgyeats for more food pictures! I wasn't disappointed with my first omakase in Toronto and its relaxed atmosphere and excellent value. They know how to handle their rice and fish, serving up the freshest seafood I've never even heard of, from the subtle sweetness of the white fish to the indulgent creaminess of the otoro. The rice is seasoned for a subtle sweet vinegar taste that balances and complements the fish, and the meal is finished with an aromatic taro ice cream that's as smooth as silk.

At $100, it is one of the best value omakase in Toronto! This can be my new bi monthly sushi restaurant. Like most other Omakase in the GTA, I have to ordered a few extra nigiri at a reasonable price to fill me up. Try and reserve at the sushi bar since you will enjoy a better experience.

I was in search of a budget friendly omakase around town. This was the first place that was recommended by Google as well as my peers, thus I gave it a try. For $100 dollars, it blew me away. The fish were good quality and I had nothing to be mad about. There was even a toro piece which is my personal favourite. They didn’t have any uni pieces when I went. Interior was great and I had no complaints about the service. I would give this restaurant a 8.5/10!

Casual dining experience with exceptional food and service. Watching the sushi chef in his element, as he crafted each nigiri, was very special. He was meticulous in his work and observant of his guests’ needs. Can’t wait to go back.

One of the best value Omakase offerings in the city. Interesting, a few uncommon and fresh ingredients from Japanese and European waters were used for the Sushi Neta. Very friendly and informative sushi chef and lady server. The 'all fish' routine, with very similar dressing, tends to become a bit monotonous after the first 6-7 pieces. The use of other forms of seafood.....shellfish, crustaceans...etc to break up the routine should add more enjoyment. The use of truffle oil in a few toppings tends to be ' hot or miss '.....for me, the pungent aroma was a bit too overwhelming! Wines chosen for the pairing was interesting but not totally compatible. IMO, Sake is a better pairing choice!

First ever omakase experience and it did not disappoint. Favourite part was most definitely the sushi round which served individual pieces at a time to patrons. Each sushi was unique to its own with specific ingredients procured from different regions of the world. Time passed by too quickly as I could’ve eaten more. Given the process of serving food, dining etiquette was at first confusing for a first time noob like myself but I quickly adapted to the experienced patrons near me. The staff here is also exceptionally kind as my wife mentioned it was my birthday and the chef presented me an extra piece of sushi with a candle. Turns out you can also let them know ahead of time and they’ll generously prepare a piece of birthday cake. All in all it was a great experience and a definite recommendation for sushi lovers and foodies alike.

Affordable omakase in Toronto. The chef explains what you’re eating and even where it is sourced from. Pleasant experience, took about 1 hour for 16 courses. Chef is super friendly and humble. Highly recommend!

Best omakase and wine pairing experience we’ve had so far! The chef and waitress provided friendly and excellent service. Similar to all the previous reviewers, this is the best value omakase. For a guaranteed great date night, this is the spot!
