Decent Experience at Shoeless Joe’s Sports Bar in Niagara Falls During my recent visit to Niagara Falls, I stopped by Shoeless Joe’s Sports Bar, and it was an interesting experience overall. We arrived about an hour and a half before closing, and while the place seemed promising, the experience felt a bit rushed. It may have been because it was a weekday, or perhaps it was just a quiet night for them, as we were the only customers left toward the end. The server was friendly and courteous, which was a positive aspect of our visit. I ordered a beer that was supposed to be on special with an additional charge for an upgrade, but the bill didn’t reflect the discount. I didn’t bring it up at the time, so it wasn’t a big deal, but it might be something they can keep an eye on in the future to ensure billing accuracy. The ambiance of the place is fantastic for a dinner date, casual hangout, or game night. It’s also conveniently located near the center of everything in Niagara Falls, making it an easy stop if you’re exploring the area. We ended up leaving about 30 minutes before closing because we felt a bit rushed, likely because it was a slow night and we were the last customers. While this wasn’t a major issue, it did affect the overall vibe of our visit. All in all, Shoeless Joe’s is a decent spot with potential for a great time, especially if you’re looking for a casual meal or a place to catch a game. With a bit more attention to pacing and billing details, it could elevate the experience further. I’d consider visiting again on a busier night for a livelier atmosphere.

Servers were nice, the nachos were great but the chicken sandwich was extremely dry

We weren’t exactly sure where to eat without going into some of the more expensive restaurants and we ended up at shoeless Joe’s. It’s fine It’s bar food. $22 for a wrap is a little bit on the expensive side, but you are right next to the casino. We sat upstairs, and the restaurant is definitely showing signs of wear as it gets older. It could definitely use a refresh. Would we be back? Possibly.

Food was great here! However, I feel super bad when rating the service here because I do believe they were under staffed. The waitress was extremely kind and apologetic about our wait time for the food to come out. For being a sports bar, you would think it would I ld be a little more "sportsy" throughout the restaurant. They may need to revamp the place a bit and hire on more ppl because the food is really good here, just don't come out real fast!

As a waitress myself I didn’t want to write this review because I know how a bad review can affect a business but my experience here was horrible. The service was great and our waitress was very friendly. I did order a raspberry lemonade and that was the only good thing I had here. I ordered calamari to start and the chicken cordon bleu as my entree because the table next to us had ordered it and it looked really good. The woman at the table next to us had sent her food back because it was cold and when they got up I asked how the cordon bleu was and the man said it was terrible and the bacon it was wrapped in was white and slimy and I should cut into it before I ate it. The calamari was okay but very greasy and the breading was falling off of it. When my cordon bleu arrived some of it was burnt and I cut into it and exactly like the other table said, the bacon was white and slimy. The waitress even said it looked scary when she came over. She took it back and I ordered chicken strips instead. It took about 25-30 minutes for me to get them and my friends were already done with their meals by the time I got them. Both the chicken and the fries were very rubbery and I barely ate them. The waitress apologized and brought out our bills. She explained that she tried to take the chicken strips off but her manager or whoever wouldn’t let her so she didn’t charge me for my soda and they took the cordon bleu off. Again the service was amazing so I tipped her 20% but was very upset that I paid $70 for food that I didn’t even eat. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and I definitely will not be back.

A very nice sports bar. The food was excellent and the sangria fabulous. Apart from the service being a bit slow, it is well worth a visit.

variety of bar food options. The wings were delicious. It is located walking distance from the falls and open late. They do not take reservations however the wait time is not bad at all as there is a lot of space both indoors and on the patio outdoors.
