Shishlix Restaurant

I had such a great time at this restaurant! The food was tasty, and the portions were huge—you definitely get your money's worth. The appetizers were awesome too. We went to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and there was live music that night by a singer named Ms. Sepid. Her performance was incredible, creating a warm and vibrant atmosphere that made the night even more special. Highly recommend this place!

Was invited to this place for lunch, I’ve had some good Persian food but this was my 1st visit to this restaurant. Once arrived at the restaurant I noticed a few things. The seating arrangement was awkward. It did not feel like a restaurant. More like an eatery. Service was very slow and unsynced. Table was not cleared after the main food arrived at the table. We ordered vasirri kebab and sour kebab. I felt the meat was overcooked but the dish arrived warm to cold. The service is one of the important issues that needs to work.. a lot of work to train the staff to deliver a good experience. We ordered tea and instead of bringing all three teas at once, they brought two teas and the third tea arrived 9 minutes later. My ice cream arrived after the tea it was rock slid and I had to wait for it to thaw, what Annoyed me was they served Turkish ice cream in an Iranian restaurant. At least try to be creative and try serving something that matches Iranian flavours. Overall it was an okay experience. It could be better.

Food: 2 Stars Service: 2 Stars Ambience: 2 Stars Value: 2 Stars Overall: 2 Stars I have been a regular customer at Shishlix for some time now (as I am a big fan of Iranian cuisine), but I regret to say that the quality of both the food and service has been steadily declining. During my initial visits, the koobideh and chicken leg were juicy and bursting with flavour, making each meal a pleasant experience. However, on recent visits, I've noticed a significant decline in the food's quality. The koobideh and chicken leg have become disappointingly dry and less appetizing, which was quite disheartening considering how enjoyable they used to be. Moreover, the Caesar salad, once crisp and refreshing, now arrives limp and soggy. This consistent decline in food quality has been coupled with disappointing service at the takeout counter. The staff there has been consistently rude and unhelpful, giving off an impression that they are disinterested in their work. It's as if they would rather not be there, which further detracts from the dining experience. In conclusion, while I initially enjoyed my meals at Shishlix, the recent decline in both food quality and service has left me disappointed. I hope this feedback serves as constructive criticism to help them improve for the benefit of future customers. kellychan360

Love the food here! The meat is so tender and quality is really good. Worth the price. But I was very disappointed with the service. We went to celebrate a family event and our server didn’t smile once. It felt like she was looking down on us the entire time. The owner is great and very helpful but he needs better staff. They represent your business and are the face people see. When we asked for something it felt like we were an inconvenience.

Decent restaurant: good food, decor, service but high prices. I came here with my husband and had a pleasant experience, the food was good. The restaurant was well appointed and service was good as well. There was a private party going on while we were there. Everything looked great and I have nothing bad to say apart from the fact that their prices are quite high.

We ordered Royal kebab, and i lived it. The meat was cooked to perfection and was incredibly delicious. It was very tender and flavourful. However, the rice was not to my liking. I think they could improve it by using better quality rice
