Shin Ramen and Sushi

Amazing! This is privately owned and not a franchise at all so you know they put a lot of their heart and soul into everything they do. Their food is delicious their sushi and sashimi is so fresh and every single person I have brought here has gone back and become almost a regular. If you haven't tried this place you really have to do yourself a favor and try it!

First time here, it was quiet & there was just 1 customer. I thought the ramen was okay, found first hair on the egg didn’t want to complain so I continued eating. Found the 2nd one and had to tell the lady. They gave me 10% off my bill, but next morning woke up sick.🤢🤮 I got food poisoning, will not be back.

Some of the tastiest Ramen I’ve had in the city. The soup base is so rich and flavourful with perfect cooked noodles. The Onigiri w/Tuna was soft and delicious. The wife and I will be back here again.

Shin Ramen - My Go-To Spot for Fresh and Delicious Meal!!! Shin Ramen has been my regular Friday takeout and dine-in option for the past three years, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh, fast, and consistently satisfying. I regularly enjoy the daily special roll, spicy roll, chicken karaage, dumplings, and edamame. Every dish is packed with flavor and clearly made with quality ingredients. The service is just as impressive as the food— the staff are friendly, attentive, and always accommodating. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, they make sure your experience is top-notch. I also can’t forget to mention the ramen!! The spicy ramen and Shin Shin ramen at Shin Ramen are unbeatable. The spicy ramen has the perfect kick, balancing heat with rich, savory broth and tender noodles. The Shin Shin ramen is a comforting classic, with a deep, flavorful broth that’s hearty yet smooth. If you're a ramen or sushi lover, these are must-try dishes that deliver. Overall great experience!! We tried a bowl of ramen which is LARGE and probably best for sharing. The katsu-don is right on point and close to the best I’ve tried and we had a green roll dragon which was good as well. Staff is very friendly and the area is nice!

I went here for lunch a few weeks back. I have to start with saying the vibe was very good, the staff was friendly and the space was very clean. I got the spicy roll combo for lunch; it was $18+ tax which was a bit steep for lunch but no problem. Note they do give discounts to students from Humber. The rolls were not very good, the texture of the spicy salmon was off on that roll and the sushi rice was a bit overdone. Overall the texture of these made it so the meal didn’t agree with me. I would like to come back and try the ramen, it did look very good. But I would not come back for the sushi.

Edit/update* after revisiting, seems the quality has gone down. Unfortunately portions have shrunk, and taste has decreased. But prices have gone up. Specifically the ikura sushi which now has an oddly sweet taste. Salad is no longer offered with a dinner order, and I was asked if I wanted miso soup, which caught me off guard, as I assumed it came with the order. Updated photo to show the same order. Service is still very nice. Atmosphere stays the same. I will be removing a star ————— From the moment I walked in to the second I left, this place treated me like I was an unseen family member who just reunited after a while. Shin Ramen and Sushi has quite the experience. From different tastes that fill up your mouth, to a great customer service from the waiters to the chefs. This has become my weekly spot for my sushi cravings. With affordable prices, and a wide variety of cuisines. This restaurant will surely please all different tastebuds. Highly recommend giving Shin Ramen and Sushi a try, every other sushi restaurant seems incomparable after a single dining experience.

My favourite ramen & sushi restaurant! I usually don't like Japanese-style ramen because it has never tasted good from the many ramen places I have visited... BUT THIS PLACE IS BOMB! The sushi is always fresh and tasty as well. However, the best thing is that they have a large variety of menu items and so far have not disappointed with anything.
