Most amazing shawarma food ever. I ordered a chicken bowl it was fresh super tasty and delicious. The service is amazing as well. Highly recommended. Tourists also a must place to visit if you are in Toronto. Prices are cheap too.

I’m a huge Shelby’s fan but was a bit disappointed with my experience at this location. Understandably it was late on a Friday night so it did take quite some time to get my order. I don’t mind waiting but when you wait and your order is not what you were expecting, that’s where the disappointment sets in. I ordered the bites box which I’ve had before but the fries were not cooked or seasoned properly. I asked the wrap to be spicy but it was not spicy at all.

I absolutely love Shelby’s Shawarma! The restaurant is impressively clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The service is quick and efficient, but the real highlight is the food. Especially the bowls, which are simply exceptional. I genuinely feel like I could eat here every day! Highly recommend Shelby’s Shawarma for anyone looking for delicious food in a comfortable and hygienic setting.

The TikTok posts and advertisements definitely lived up to the hype! The food was packed with flavor, and the staff was incredibly friendly and engaging, especially with the kids—just like in the videos. The dish was bursting with taste, and the Chipotle sauce and spicy garlic were both fantastic. Highly recommend this place for a delicious and enjoyable experience!

So excited I found out about this grand opening at King and John street and was one of the first 50 people to get a free chicken shawarma poutine (they call it boutine)! I loved their wraps because the saaj bread is baked fresh so I was thrilled they were 50% off. I got the Traditional chicken shawarma which has pomegranate sauce and got the Legendary size which has more chicken than Regular. So damn delicious and one of my top favourites in Toronto and Scarborough! The boutine was good but I thought it had too much sauce. It drowned out the chicken and French fries in my opinion. And it needed more chicken. But still delicious. Customer service was excellent! We got free churro samples while waiting long time in line. And woman at counter was so friendly with a real, authentic smile which I always appreciated. I also had questions about their menu and she was so patient and helpful. She didn’t rush me even though there was a long line behind me. Also I was thrilled to meet Yasser aka Shawarma-Man who is in the crazy, hilarious videos on TikTok and Instagram! Yasser was so friendly and truly took time to chat with me and others waiting in line. Super nice guy! I told him I loved Shelby’s shawarmas because they give me FOODGASMS! This location has same cool vibe as location closer to me in Scarborough. And as I’ve written in previous review, their colourful branding and graphic design on all their packaging is truly outstanding! I’m an Illustrator so I give their creative designs top marks! BTW I found out they were supposed to open for TIFF Film Festival Sept 2024 but the store was affected by the big flood. I told them they will do great business when TIFF returns! Highly recommend! Absolutely fantastic shawarma! The flavors are authentic and well-balanced, with perfectly seasoned ingredients in every bite. The portion sizes are generous, and the wrap holds together beautifully without being too heavy.
