Shawarma X & shahrazad

Went in to support a local business but there are some challenges with this place. Except for one person no one else really speaks English. Second they are not consistent with how they make the items. Comparing my order to others that were ahead of me. I ordered a Beef Shawarma on rice except substituted the rice for salad. When I got home I found out that they made a mistake with the order by not putting the sauce that I wanted instead put hot sauce. When I went back the gentleman who made the order seemed upset, not sure why. They did not seem pleased to fix my order. They remade the order but this time they didn’t give much meat. I also ordered their special of the day which was a colored rice with a quarter chicken leg. The beef shawarma meat was already cut from ahead of time and on the side so it was not hot and fresh (this is at around 6:30 PM so not closing time) The rice in the special was overly salty. They need better quality control and customer service.

Really happy to have stumbled upon this place. Greeted with a cup of lentil soup. (Was very good) Ordered a small soup and asked for bread. They Gave me a freshly made piece. Shawarma half and half was more chicken then anything else. Very happy with my order from taste to presentation. They are trying very hard to impress and have succeeded in impressing me. Can't wait to see how this place will grow.

This place definitely, in my opinion, has gotten way better than I remember. I ordered the beef samoon with everything in it and the favour was amazing. Beef was fresh and the bread was nice and soft. Also, we were given some lentil soup to try and was not disappointed. The young lady handling the register was pleasant and Yusif (I hope I am spelling it correctly) was very hospitable. Will definitely come back.

I initially went to buy shawerma wraps, then I noticed the family platter. I ordered the chicken shawerma family platter which says it serves 4-5 people. That platter served 15 people not only 5! The portion is huge, very reasonable price, and just devious. The service was amazing and the place looks authentic and inviting. Will sure be back for more orders!

The new management at Shawarma X is amazing! They treated us like royalty in true a middle eastern hospitality. They gave us complimentary lentil soup and a beautiful saj platter. The environment, music, furniture and overall ambiance are on point. We will definitely be visiting here again and referring to our friends & family.

Best shawarma I’ve ever had. Not only is the food amazing the customer service is second to none. Moe and his sister are some of the nicest and funniest people I have ever met. They put so much care into the food and customers. Please please please pay them a visit you will not be disappointed.

I came in today with my friend to try out this place, I have read the reviews before coming in and let me be honest this place is worth the buzz. The food is top quality, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We’ll be dining in more often and taking out as well.

Ordered takeout and was greeted with a small cup of tasty lentil soup. The Shawarma half rice/fries was really tasty! Possibly the best in Oakville! Highly recommended.
