Food was fresh, got the student special shawarma wrap, came with a drink but not fries, was overall a nice experience, man working there was polite and the restaurant was clean

Royal Shawarma – especially this branch – serves some of the best shawarma in the area, period. The quality is consistently outstanding, with well-balanced toppings that elevate the flavor. Every order arrives with well-thought-out packaging, and they never miss a beat with the side orders. The tahini sauce is always perfect, and the pickles – including the spicy ones – are fresh and plentiful, adding just the right kick. The only slight downside is that the amount of meat in the shawarma could be a bit more generous. However, this doesn’t take away from the fact that Royal Shawarma is a top choice for shawarma lovers. I hope the other downtown branch matches this one in quality, organization, and service. Highly recommended!

Great Value for fresh, delicious food. I ordered the rice bowl and topped it w lamb and chicken along w coleslaw, tomatoes, turnips, onions and the tahini sauce. I asked for some drippings of chicken juice on top. The portions are so generous half a bowl filled my plate ! The security guard in our building gave me this recommendation and I liked it so much went back for another bowl last night. The staff are all very friendly too. A++++

I have tried many shawarmas in Toronto , alladins , sumaq, shwarma jwan and the have to say shawarma royale was outstanding and beyond great , very fresh and the staff was unbelievable so help full and knowledgeable. Special thanks to ADNAN the worker there , he made the experience amazing . Great shawarma spot for a Syrian style it’s extremely good . Ask for the mixed wrap !

Just visited their new location in downtown Toronto @yonge+gerraard Had their chicken shawarma bowl. The rice was almost like pilaf ( NOT those dry yellow rice you get most places!) and the chicken was perfectly moist. Good food. If they keep the taste and quality then this is my go to Shawarma place !!

This is my first visit to Shawarma Royale. I ordered the beef and lamb bowl and it was good and filling. The ratio of meat to rice is off though. They need to add more meat to the plate like Osmow’s or other places do.

On the 10 scale it is a 7.9. The portions a large, the service was quick and the food was solid. I would love to try one or the large boxes. I got a chicken bowl that was good but I wish it had a bit more chicken in it. I also wish it came with some of the onions and hot pepper. It is incredibly clean inside and the staff are very nice. I definitely think it is better than the Pita Lite down the road.
