SHAWARMA DAY is a new restaurant in Toronto opened more than 6 months ago.
OurShawarma is thinly sliced cuts of meat, like chicken, beef, and rolled into a large piece of flatbread or pita, toasted on flat grill. Come and try our home made hummus, tahini, garlic and hot sauce and serve while the vegetables, and even french fries could be added on a side. Serving our Shawarma in plate as well and many more meal grills and side order as well. We appreciate your time and looking forward for having you soon. Best of our luck to our valuable customers. Ordered the chicken shawarma dinner plate; at $14.99 you get plenty of food and they are not skimpy with the chicken. In other words, good value for your dollar. Most importantly a very taste product. This is now my go to shawarma restaurant in the neighbourhood.

Quantity for large chicken shawarma roll was huge and I couldn't finish it. I find the food average. Chicken felt a bit dry. I paid 18 dollar for large chicken shawarma roll and a pop.

Wow! I got the chicken shawarma box meal. It was great, and omg was it packed (refer to pic below). Every single thing was individually flavourful and enjoyable, and combined it still works. Glad I got to try this place out. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I had the chicken and beef shawarma for the first time. So tasty and fresh, we both loved the chicken the best. You have to try it and I’m not normally a chicken fan. The guy was super friendly and sweet. This is our new wrap place. 🤗 For the price the portions are amazing. Great value for your buck.

I ordered two chicken shawarma and a large poutine for pickup. The shawarma were extremely soggy and I couldn’t eat it. Went straight into the trash. The poutine had more cheese than fries and the gravy was very runny. Very disappointed. $40 wasted.

The man who took my order and made my food had a nice attitude and the portion was good, but I ordered a mixed shawarma plate and there was only chicken and I paid extra for the beef. When the man asked me if I want hot sauce I said yes and he told me he already added the hot sauce to the chicken when it was on the grill and was making sure I can handle the heat when I wanted extra hot sauce to top off my plate. Wouldn’t mixed protein have the beef as well? why did he say that it was only added to the chicken? I ate some of the food and it was definitely just chicken… shawarma is something I eat often and I eat meat so I know the difference if it had beef but there was no dark meat in my plate at all. I asked the man if he added beef and it tasted like only chicken and he said mixed is both so of course he did and that he is generous and wouldn’t give any less. He didn’t bother to take a look at my plate to make sure that it wasn’t just one protein, I didn’t want to push it so I just thanked him and left but I wish that there was more honesty.

Excessively salty. Salad was subpar. The rice and Hummus was expired and smelly. Ordered thru uber eats. Received no chickpeas even though they were in the photo on the dish ordered within the app. The salad was nothing similar to the one in the photo in the app. Scam alert! Solid 0.5 out of 10. Waste of money. No matter what they reply with, this food cannot be justified. 4 hours in, I cant sleep now, the food genuinely gave me loose diarrhea, been in the washroom constantly, I cant breathe and Ive been puking an hour since I ate it. Thank you for making me sick!

First the atmosphere is nice and clean with cozy seating area. Second the customer service was awesome as soon as I walked in. Third the chicken shawarma wrap I ordered was so tasty, fresh garnishes and the bread wasn’t hard or dry! Great prices I regret not getting the large instead when he asked BUT I will the next time I go in!
