I've got to give credit where it's due - the chicken shawarma and rice were actually pretty tasty. The flavors were on point, and it satisfied that shawarma craving I had. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Especially for a $20 Chicken Shawarma plate (expensive for this type of food/quality). I rolled up late at night, hoping for a solid shawarma fix, but I should've turned around when I saw the state of their toppings. The salad looked sparse and was starting to brown at the edges - not exactly appetizing. I was hoping they'd bring out some fresh salads when serving us, but no such luck. The old salad was a hard pass for me. Even worse, the pickles were mushy, which is a dead giveaway that those pickled veggies had been sitting around for way too long. I'm honestly shocked by the high ratings this place gets. Maybe it's because I came so late when the food court traffic was slow, and things weren't at their freshest. I'll be willing to give Shawarbite one more shot before potentially writing it off for good.

This is the best shawarma restaurant of all time. I have never been more satisfied in my whole life. I almost cried because of how good my experience was. The owner is also really cute, I would put a ring on his finger.

It’s only 4 star cause I can’t do 4.5. I’ve been wanting to come to this place. CONS: the only reason I’m giving that rating is cause their toppings are limited which leaves a few things out and it just made me sad cause I would’ve liked a few pieces. I can’t imagine onions and parsley being that pricey that they aren’t included. Also the flavour is definitely pretty good. It’s that authentic Lebanese flavour but just not as intense as I’d like it to be. If it was more intense it would’ve been perfection. PROS: they use toum!! Not garlic powder mayo like a lot of other places. Make it more garlicky for the garlic lovers! The other pro is the place is CLEAN!! And also they toast the shawarma so well so it’s nice and crispy. I’ll definitely be regular whenever I’m passing by.

This is hands down the cleanest restaurant I've ever visited in the entire GTA. The food is absolutely delicious and really tastes like authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. The staff is very welcoming. If you're looking for a clean spot with great food , this place is a must-try!

Best Halal food in Toronto! We recently had an amazing experience at Shawarbite! The Sujuk Fajita took me back to Beirut, with its spicy garlicky taste, and my wife loved the freshly fried Vegetarian Falafel. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the restaurant was MONICA clean, i finally let my children eat fast food. We'll definitely be returning!! Thanks!
