Shatter Abbas Restaurant

On December 15, I ordered food for takeout. After 40 minutes they said your food is not ready and I have to wait for next 30 minutes. This was while I paid the price of food. When I canceled my order because of unreasonable delay and asked them to refund my money back, amazingly, they said we they don't have any refund. I raised the issue in writing to complain and sue them with the government of Canada. Their service, rudeness and behavior is unique in the world!!! Never go to any of this poor quality location.

I recently visited this restaurant and was disappointed with the overall experience. The service was very poor, mainly because they seemed to be short-staffed. I had to wait an unreasonably long time to place my order and even longer to pay the bill. The food I ordered was Gheimeh stew with rice, which is a classic Persian dish. However, instead of the traditional fries that are an essential part of this dish, it was served with hickory sticks. This completely altered the taste of the stew and was not acceptable for a Persian restaurant claiming to serve authentic cuisine. Additionally, the atmosphere lacked warmth. I didn’t feel welcomed or valued as a customer, which added to the overall dissatisfaction. The only positive part of today’s experience was about the tasty soup was served at first. I hope the restaurant addresses these issues, as it has the potential to offer a much better experience.

Shaterabbas offers amazing Persian food with the utmost quality! Our experience was elevated when the server surprised us with a complimentary soup, which was absolutely delicious. The food, service, and ambiance make this a fantastic place to dine. Highly recommend this location to everyone looking for an authentic and memorable meal!

We had some very flavorful Persian kebabs at Shatter Abbas. We tried the Soltani and Koobideh, and both were excellent. The kebabs were tender, juicy, and not overcooked. They were served in generous portions with saffron rice. The Doogh was also delicious.

Glad didn’t go with the bad reviews as this place needs to be 4.5 at the minimum. The staff is so respectful and polite and were a delight throughout our dining experience. Now the most important aspect is the food, it was incredibly fresh and flavourful. We got Combination of 4 skewers of kebabs: beef tenderloin, chicken breast, two skewers of ground beef, two saffron basmati rice plus another koobideh kebob with cucumber yogurt. Loved it all and highly recommend to give this place a shot. You wont be disappointed. Will be back again for mode delicious food and service.

We recently visited the Shatter Abbas in Thornhill, Despite the peak hours, the attendant efficiently secured a table for us, making our wait comfortable. Our journey began with the Chicken Barley Soup – each barley pearl was a burst of flavor, with that slight sour twist that took it to another level. For the main course, we opted for Platter a combination of 9 skewers featuring beef tenderloin, chicken leg, chicken breast, shishlik (lamb rack), and five skewers of ground beef. Served with saffron basmati rice and the local Persian yogurt drink 'dough,' buttermilk. every dish was cooked to perfection, but the real star was the shishlik (lamb chops) not too dry, not too chewy, just juicy goodness. We loved it so much that we ordered an extra plate! Looking forward to another visit in the future. Highly recommended for a delightful Persian culinary experience!

Update: Unfortunately, I recently found out that it's NOT HALAL. I had asked the waitress before we dined, and she assured me it was, but a few weeks later, some Iranian friends visited and were told it wasn’t Halal. The Persian food here is delicious. I especially like the Fesenjan, and my sister-in-law loved the Kashkeh Badenjan. My nieces and nephew enjoyed the Baghali Polo. We also ordered Platter 2, which included kabab, berg, and jojeh kabab, but I was too full to try it.

We tried this restaurant for the first times. The food was very flavorful and delicious. Exceeded my expectations. The service was amazing and very fast. Meats and chicken were delicious, fresh, and super tender - melted in the mouth. Portion size was quite generous. Prices can be a bit on the higher side but worth it for the quality and quantity of food. Highly recommend it.
