Went for dinner while staying at the airport hotel delicious Indian Pakistani food. The samosas were a surprise, not traditional that I’m used to. They were layered in delicious chickpea sauce, and other sauces. Nan bread was delicious with the spinach and lentil dishes. Everything was yummy. And the waitress was super helpful and very accommodating.

The food was great and so was the service. We had chicken karhai, nulli nihari, kheer, Karak Chai and the Ross Roll which is actually a pomegranate lemon and sprite drink. We recommend all food and drink except for kheer. While the taste was good it did not feel authentic. A special shoutout to Komal and Kaya. They were both very polite and helpful. Additionally we played carrom board which was lots of fun.

My visit to Shashky was a disaster. The staff was rude, and the Margarita we ordered turned out to be just soda with lemon. We came for the Nali Biryani, but the first dish had no bone marrow, and the replacement was even worse—smelly and inedible. My friend felt sick after one bite and vomited. The staff didn’t even apologize for the bad food. Don’t waste your money here!

The ambiance and decor of this establishment are quite impressive. The service provided was exceptional, with prompt greetings upon arrival and knowledgeable assistance from the server in explaining the menu items and recommending popular dishes. The food was of high quality, although the portion sizes could have been more generous. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and encourage others to experience its culinary offerings.

I am beyond glad that we decided to try Shashkay for dinner! The atmosphere and service were great! We got the chaat samosa, chicken biryani, and garlic naan. We got penne Alfredo for our little toddler. Everything was fantastic! Highly recommend!

I can't speak highly enough of this place. What a beautiful place, awesome taste & best presentation of all desi restaurants in the GTA. Other restaurants should take a note from them about how the brunch should be presented. I absolutely don't regret driving from Waterloo for this place. To the owner, I would like to request to please consider the Waterloo region as your second branch's location!

The food was good. We enjoyed the karhai and beef biryani. The ambience and service were pleasing. The meal ended with a cup of hot chai which was better than many I've had around town. Over all I would recommend this place and will try other items next time.
