The noodles here are very authentic and taste great, and you can get free refills. The staff is very friendly (just like at home) and will help as much as possible. The atmosphere in the store is good, and there is soft music, suitable for eating alone or with friends.

The restaurant is tucked away at the back of an office building, making it a bit tricky to find, especially at night when visibility is lower. If you’re visiting for the first time, keep an eye out for signs or use a map app to avoid getting lost. Once inside, you’ll be greeted by a bright, clean, and welcoming interior. The simple yet modern design creates a comfortable dining environment, perfect for a casual meal or a quick bite after work. The highlight of the experience was definitely the noodles. They offer a small selection of classic options, which might seem limited at first, but every choice appears to be a winner. I only tried one of the options, but it was so flavorful and well-prepared that I feel confident the others would be just as good. The noodles had the perfect texture, and the broth was rich and savory, hitting all the right notes. Service was another standout aspect. The staff were attentive and efficient. My food arrived quickly, and halfway through the meal, the waiter even checked in to see if I wanted to add more noodles — a thoughtful touch that I really appreciated. Overall, I had a fantastic experience. The hidden location may be a slight inconvenience, but the quality of the food, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere more than make up for it. I will definitely be back for more!

Simple restaurant for a good bowl of noodles at a very fair price. The noodles here are really good hand pulled noodles (menu calls them sliced). The soup for the tomato egg pork noodle bowl was delicious. Portion sizes for the noodles were huge - I can eat a lot and I struggled to finish mine. Service was really friendly and the atmosphere is simple (plastic chairs and tables). The only downside to this restaurant is it is kind of tucked away. It's on the first floor of what looks like an office building, and it's in the very back of the building, with the outside entrance being a relatively non descript metal door (they have a sign in Chinese indicating that you can come in through there). Too bad because I feel like they would do well in a more prime location!

The red oil dumpling is average, nothing stands out about it. The server recommended 2 of their most popular noodle dishes and they are amazing. The texture of the noodle and the flavor is on point. We went to a different daoxiao noodle place in north york the day before and the texture of the noodle here is so much better! Worth the drive!

Taste good, they have many option for noodles, appetizers and dumplings. Hidden place but easy to access from parking and many free parking. Also the price is good. Definitely will mark here as my frequent food place.

The best Shanxi noodle I have ever had, even based on China local restaurants’ standard! We order beef potato noodle soup, dry noodle with house special sautéed boiled pork with black fungus and the assorted cold dishes. Highly recommended for all of them, especially the sautéed pork, the pickled daikon, the pork skin jelly. It’s a truly hidden gem!

The food here is really tasty. Any of their shaved noodles, with soup or with sauce, is good to try. The noodles come with free noodles refill, although the portion size is always very generous. The popcorn chicken is also great (very tender and tasty) for little kids. Staff is very understanding and helpful. This is a hidden gem. Literally a little hidden in the ground floor of an empty office building.
