The atmosphere is perfect for the holiday season and special occasions, such as personal events or dates. We ordered a variety of dishes, and the salmon stood out as the highlight. It was served with a delicious green curry-flavored sauce, and the staff went above and beyond by checking with the chef to customize it for me, even removing the skin upon request. This added a bit of extra time to receive the order, but it was well worth the wait. On the other hand, the chicken fried rice could use a bit more flavor. I’m excited to try other dishes in the future. Overall, it was a great experience with excellent service!

Beautiful ambiance, with modern Shanghainese decor. The Shanghai noodles with thick and chewy, seasoned with sweet soy sauce with a mix of stir fried vegetables and protein of choice. I had chicken for my protein, it was moist and flavorful, a perfect addition to the noodles. The staff here were attentive and friendly. The pink cocktail I ordered was not too sweet, refreshing, and addictive. This place is a must try if you’re in Oakville.

We had an incredible dining experience at Shanghai Alley Gourmet in Oakville! The dim sum selection is absolutely delicious and varied, with each bite better than the last. From the classic dumplings to more unique offerings, everything was fresh and flavorful. The Scallion Oil Noodles were a standout dish, with the perfect balance of savory flavors, and the Longjing Tea Lobster and Shrimp Wontons are an absolute must-try. If you're a fan of authentic and high-quality Chinese cuisine, this place is a gem!

We had a lovely day out with the kids thanks to the great weather, and after a stroll by the lake, we stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant. The atmosphere is fantastic, especially with the option to sit outdoors and enjoy the sunshine while savoring the food. The salmon was incredibly delicious, even the kids loved it. The wonton soup and scallion oil noodles brought back memories of home, making the meal even more special. The best part? The prices are very reasonable. I heard they’re opening a new location nearby next year, and I’ll definitely be bringing the whole family to try it out. Before leaving, we packed some snacks and treats for the kids to enjoy as we continued our day.Looks like this place might just become our family’s go-to spot in the future!

Recently dined in after quite a while with a couple of friends and the experience was just perfect as usual! They have this new charcoal grilled fish for the summertime and I’m obsessed with that shrimp curry sauce!! Love it with white rice. We devoured the food fast lol but I managed to get a pic of a fav dessert -brown sugar sticky rice, I believe it is. Also love what they’ve done with the place recently. Anyway just lovely quality and care, and atmosphere as always. Will have to come again for that fish soon! ;)

The staff are lovely and friendly. We ordered the pot sticker dumplings they were ok. The Shanghai noodles and General Tao chicken came out quickly. Nothing was particularly hot as in temperature or in spice. Truly just ok. Mediocre.
