Shalal Restaurant

Found Shalal on google maps while looking for a place to just sit and chill at, with a friend and so glad we went here. It’s a huge restaurant, with an inner huge section for sheesha and it is supremely well ventilated. There were a lot of customers by the end of the day but the ventilation worked perfectly and the room was not very smokey. The service is amazing. Very friendly. They make recommendations if you ask them too. In fact, we first got a gum-mint sheesha. But didn’t like it. So they changed it for us at no extra cost. We went for Orange Mint and it did not disappoint at all. They kept changing our coals at regular intervals too. We didn’t eat anything here, except Chocolate Cheesecake, which they didn’t have, so they sourced it for us from Cheesecake Factory nearby! Could it get any better than that!!! We ended up spending over 8 hours here before heading to our new year’s eve party back in Toronto. We totally loved the mood here!

The decor is chic yet cozy. The menu is diverse, offering a perfect blend of traditional flavors with modern twists. Overall, the food was great, and the service was good. I recently dined at Shalal Restaurant in Mississauga and was thoroughly impressed. The recent renovations have transformed the space into a warm and inviting atmosphere, blending modern design with traditional Middle Eastern elements.  I particularly enjoyed the mixed grill platter, which featured perfectly seasoned meats cooked to perfection. The accompanying sides, including hummus and tabbouleh, were equally delightful and complemented the main courses wonderfully. The service was exceptional; the staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations. The attention to detail and genuine hospitality enhanced the overall dining experience. Additionally, Shalal has introduced engaging events that enhance the dining experience: • Karaoke Thursdays: Every Thursday night, guests can enjoy lively karaoke sessions, adding a fun and interactive element to the evening. • Paint Nights: Shalal hosts creative paint nights, offering patrons the opportunity to express their artistic side while enjoying delicious Middle Eastern cuisine. • Live Music Saturdays: On Saturdays, the restaurant features live music performances, enhancing the dining atmosphere with vibrant entertainment. Been served with expired Barbican drink. Be careful and check the dates before consuming any of their drinks. They also significantly raised the prices for the substandard stuffs.

We came here as a family of 9 and OMG the food was delicious!! The staff was super friendly and so accommodating to us! We will definitely be coming back. Good proportions, reasonable prices, and delicious food. 👍🙌🏼🙌🏼

One of the best Mediterranean food I have ever had. Super Excellent service. The manger was very nice , polite and professional. Food very delicious and unique food presentation. All my family members like the food. Dessert also Amazing 🤩. Hookah is one the best . For sure I go there again and and again. Highly recommended . Enjoy
