The burgers are lacking in flavor and would definitely benefit from more sauce in general with the shack burger. The quality of the beef patty also has this almost cheap tastes to it similar to a McDs patty. Best part of the meal was easily the shake which was very tasty and not too sweet.

I recently visited Shake Shack on Dundas Street and tried their chicken burger, beef burger, fries, and a cookie milkshake. The chicken burger was decent but not as juicy as I had hoped. On the other hand, the beef burger was satisfying, though not particularly remarkable. The fries were standard—nothing special to note. However, the highlight of my meal was the cookie milkshake. It was absolutely fantastic and stood out from the rest. I’ll definitely be coming back for this milkshake again.

Burgers: 3/5 - I tried the classic burger but the meat was very under-seasoned and too thick to be considered a proper smash burger. My friend also ordered the same thing as me but for whatever odd reason, he did not get the standard toppings (lettuce, tomato). Fries: 1/5 - don't let the crinkle-cut gimmick fool you. The fries tasted like those frozen ones you bake in the oven. Shake: 5/5 - only thing worth coming for.

The service is top notch and the restaurant has an amazing interior design. The food was below average. I ordered a Shake Shack burger which was ok a portion of fries that were flavorless and a hot dog that comes without onions you only get to put mustard and ketchup. I was expecting more to be honest.

I love the potato bun. the burger is light and you will not be guilty eating it. The veggies are fresh as well. Fries are crispy. I would not recommend the cheesy fries. they are way overloaded and makes you want to gag after eating it. Sorry. The milkshake is too sweet; prolly diabetes is waving. I recommend the shroom burger, never thought that it would taste good. Well, service is pretty quick given that the store is very very busy.

My recent visit to Shake Shack in Dundas, Toronto, was an exhilarating experience, especially as I had only heard glowing reviews prior to stepping inside. The moment I entered, I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance; it felt anything but a typical fast-food chain. The design was modern and inviting, with a lively atmosphere that made it a perfect spot for a casual meal. The staff were exceptionally friendly, adding to the warm, welcoming vibe that made me feel right at home. I opted for the double patty Shake Shack burger, while my wife chose the mushroom burger. The Shake Shack burger was nothing short of perfection—flame-grilled to juicy excellence, the Angus beef had an unbeatable depth of flavor. The potato bun was soft yet slightly chewy, creating a delightful texture that complemented the burger beautifully. The cheesy fries were a revelation; the rich, melty cheese on top turned a simple side into a heavenly indulgence. My wife found the mushroom burger enjoyable, but she agreed that she would return primarily for the Angus burger, which clearly stole the show. She also indulged in a root beer float that struck the perfect balance between creamy and refreshing. Overall, our experience at Shake Shack was outstanding, and I couldn’t be happier that this gem has made its way to downtown Toronto. It stands out as a strong contender among other burger chains, offering not just delicious food but an enjoyable dining atmosphere. I’m already looking forward to returning, not just for the fantastic burgers, but to soak in the vibrant experience once more.

It's hard to rate service since you basically punch in your own order but food does come out pretty quick. Burgers was decent but I found the patty and buns portions too thin for the price. Good tourist destination, big restaurant jams decently cleaned. Other than the big brand name, there are many better burgers places, especially in the great Toronto food scene BUT it does have a nice homemade style/ taste so you decide if it's worth coming back or try elsewhere

Food is very good. I ordered a double Shack Burger, fries and the cookie and cream shake. Burger might look a bit small but it's surprisingly filling. Nice smashed patty with good flavor. Fries are nicely salted. And the shake is very sweet, unless you have a serious sweet tooth I'd recommended order something else to drink. The restaurant is very well designed and kept cleaned regularly which is a big plus from me. And the elephant in the room, yes it is good but it is quite expensive. You can order a Dave double combo from Wendy with a frosty and get 90% of the experience at about half the price. Good for a treat once in a while
