Food - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Ambiance - 5/5 Price - Expensive Ordered Kohinoor Coconut Shake, Manchow Soup, Mongolian Paneer, Jalandhari Kadai Paneer, Hyderabadi Chicken Korma, Murgh Patiala, Murgh Dum Biryani, and Goat Biryani. The kohinoor shake was amazing and rich in taste, and the food was great as well. They even made fresh tandoori marinade for us without besan (allergic), and that was okay as it didn't get enough time to blend in. But overall, the service, vibe and food was amazing. Worth a visit when around.

Overall excellent flavors and amazing experience. My favorites were the Apollo fish, chicken korma, and the pan fried goat appetizer. Mango lassi was delicious. The gold cutlery was also very aesthetically pleasing and nice to use. My family highly enjoyed the bombastic New Year’s Eve performance in the main room. The servers were nice and knowledgeable with recommendations, however I had to inquire 3 times about our order, totaling a 30-45 min delay between appetizers and entrees. 10/10 food but 7/10 experience because of the delay.

Food was great and hit the spot. The dishes we ordered were flavourful with herbs & spices, some unique flavours I haven't had before, truly delicious for us. If you can't handle spicy hot, watch out which ones you order, their menu does have a spiciness rating guide, if in doubt ask for guidance. We went on a Sun and early evening seating time just before 6pm, so it wasn't overly busy, just the way we like it. The restaurant is quite spacious and had lovely & interesting decorations, even the windows blinds were very nice to look at. Servers were super friendly and very nice. Just in case, they even offered something different to accommodate our child to eat, but he was already full & satisfied from the yummy dishes we ordered. Started with the Lemon Coriander chicken soup, just right to warm us up on this cold day. Tasty Apollo Fish app came next, followed by the rest of the dishes. We enjoyed both the Jalandhri paneer (a bit spicy for me) & Korma Chicken, mopped up the curry/gravy sauce from both dishes with the fresh garlic Naan. We added late order for the Afghani Broccoli, and it was a tasty surprise cooked with tandoori clay oven flavour. Although the coconut shake was very good, I still preferred the classic Mango Lassi. It was very cold outside today, and quite cool inside the restaurant cause I wearing short sleeves. So just in case bring something warm/long sleeves to wear inside. But once you start eating, you might warm up nicely like I did. Hope we have a chance to come back again. Best restaurant and highly recommend Shahi Manjil to get the best and mouth watering food. Shahi Manjil is the best place to visit as it has big space and beautiful ambiance which makes it a perfect spot for restaurant experience. Food at its best quality and quantity which is great. As vegetarian ordered food which was great don’t know about Non-veg but for sure it will be as delicious as Vegetarian food. Highly recommend and thanks to Shahi Manjil for serving us the delicious meal and for sure will come back and recommend friends too. 😋🤤🙏🏻

The staff were exceptional in their service and they have a very nice restaurant with elegant yet refined interior. I am more than impressed with my experience with their service. I only wish the food was less salty but I think it is subjective/preferential more than anything else. Otherwise a great place!

I’m already planning to come back here. Everything was above our expectations. Love their twist on their dishes, like the seemly grilled chicken in the butter chicken! I’ve been dreaming about dipping the butter naan in the lentil curry. Can’t wait to try the other dishes on the menu. The atmosphere is very unique for an Indian restaurant and added to the overall dining experience. I’ll see you soon!

The artwork in the restaurant adds to the experience as well, very beautiful. Wonderful ambiance. The lemon coriander soup was absolutely fantastic! So flavourful and aromatic. Got couple appetizers Dry Veg Manchuria and Mongolian fish but never experienced such taste in Canada, remembered days back in India🥹🤤🤤. Each dish is unique and has an authentic touch. Can’t wait to go again. Must try, Highly recommended.
