Senso Cafe Restaurant

After six months, I was excited to return to this restaurant during my visit to Canada and enjoy their breakfast offerings. We ordered Halim and Gheimagh, dishes I had previously loved. While the flavors remained great, the portions were noticeably smaller than before. I understand inflation may have driven this change, but reducing portions isn’t the best solution. Offering two size options—small and regular—could address this issue while accommodating customer preferences. To make matters worse, I found a hair on top of my food when it was brought to the table. While the staff quickly replaced the dish when I pointed it out, it lacked the level of service you’d typically find in American or Canadian establishments, where they might offer a discount or bring a complimentary dessert as an apology. I would strongly recommend the management consider adopting this approach if they want to stay competitive and provide a memorable dining experience. Overall, the food quality is still great, but the smaller portions and lack of proactive customer service were disappointing.

I recently visited Senso restaurant with my friends, and we had a wonderful time! The food was delicious and had smell of my country Iran❤️, and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was perfect for hanging out and relaxing. I’d highly recommend this place for a great dining experience!

Great place to taste Turkish food. The atmosphere is so romantic for a date, and the Turkish coffee is amazing. This place is very recommended.

Our visits to the sense are always very nice. The house service is wonderful, with friendly and pleasant staff. whenever we go we make a reservation on the website, on our visits there were always tables available, but it's great to guarantee it. The place has tables in the external area, allowing you to take your pet. Unfortunately, the house does not offer accessibility for the disabled, it does not have adequate space for walkers and wheelchairs, and the bathroom is on the lower floor. The restaurant offers a high chair for children, but they do not have changing tables. The restaurant menu is wonderful, with many options for lunch, dinner and brunch. The drinks are wonderful and so is the wine and beer list. It is very worth knowing.

It’s is one of the good cafes in Richmondhill, good variety of food and fresh drinks and service is always on point. Can be busy in the evenings, and the omelet’s is a must have. I recommend this place.

I visited the place for dinner with a group of my friends. We had most of the items on the menu and everyone was satisfied. I tasted Ali Nazik, Kofte (turkish style), and Falafel salad. I enjoyed everything. The taste of eggplant in Ali Nazik was amazing (I guess it was smoked), Kofte was juicy and delicious and all the veggies were fresh. Only Falafel was too dry for me. I guess it needed tahini sauce or something to make it softer. At the end, we has saffron tea with Kunefe, and it was one of the bests Kunefe I ever had. The place was neat and clean but would look better with a little reno. The staff was nice and very helpful.

Great spot for Turkish food! The staff are really friendly and the food is awesome. We've gone a couple times and our favourites are the quinoa tabouli salad and the kofte plate. Definitely recommend this place!
