We were the first ones there early morning around 9:30. There were one waitress and one hostess. When they serve the tea , it was tasteless and not very hot. To charge$3 per person you would think they might pay more attention to the quality of the tea leaves. We were a party of eight and we all felt that the tea was subpar, the dimsum choices were slim picking, with some items crossed out from the order form. The dimsum that came were alright but nothing special, overall the experience was underwhelming. Maybe they should just concentrate on dinner service.

The feedback is from dinner experience. The food quality is generally good. Not too greasy. It would be even better if there is less oil for sautéed veggies or fried rice noodles with beef. The presentation is very nice as well. However, the live lobster wasn’t brought to us after ordering and before it’s cooked. When served on the table, the lobster size appears smaller than the claimed size. The total weight looks fine though. Maybe two smaller lobsters are used in cooking instead of one big lobster but it was not informed at all. It lacks clarity. Not sure if it was done on purpose or they just forgot. There is no live seafood tank that you can see the live seafood. The sushi bar is behind the cashier counter so you can’t really see what the sushi chef is doing (for both dining experience and for the openness to demonstrate the cleanliness). The atmosphere is very bad. There are karaoke in the private rooms and people sing very badly and got connected to the speakers in the big dining room so you are forced to hear them sing too. There are people smoking in the private rooms and the smoke also goes to the big room through the central AC system. It’s not at all family friendly or high end dining experience. It’s more like some entertainment clubs. Service is terrible. The waitresses are trying to do a good job and very attentive. But it’s clear that they haven’t done any training. They don’t know what they are doing. They don’t know when to replace new plates. They don’t know they need to take away all plates and utensils except tea cups before serving dessert (given it’s marketed as upscale restaurant). One waitress even has manicure done on her hands with shiny “crystals” glued to the nails which causes food safety hazards. Given that it’s marketed as upscale restaurant but the service and the environment is well below expectations.

The rooms are beautiful! I love the concept of having 美人 on the walls. In the main room, there’s a large TV screen connected to a karaoke system. The atmosphere is fancy. The siu mai are very large and tasty! Another one of my favourites is their vegetarian goose wrapped in bean curd. The food is on the pricier side, but it’s worth it if you come for early tea (9-11am) since dishes from size S to L are all $6.95 each. Btw, the lobster and phoenix eyes dumplings sounded really good, but it had a very strong fishy taste that I wasn’t a fan of. The har gow (shrimp dumplings) tasted like any other restaurant’s har gow.

New restaurant that try to present a porch and 5-stars standard. The big screen TV lower that standard. They have smartly dressed uniformed server to bring out the dishes and another to put them on the table. Their servers and manager are all attentive to your needs. Some Dim Sum dishes sound unique and special but the manager wasn’t able to recommend any specially. I tried the “Lobster and Phoenix eye Dumplings,” which is unique in that you don’t find it in other restaurants. However, it is too dry and bland. No juice or soupy inside the wrap. Plus, you won’t be certain it is real lobster meat or mixed shrimps paste. Next, the “Stir-fried Mee Sua with Prawns and Scallops” is tasty enough but looks more like rice vermicelli instead which is also a tad too hard to chew. The noodles should have been soaked overnight or at boiled before frying them. Chef skills are lacking. Upon leaving the restaurant, two employees were engaged in gossip instead of opening the door for customers with a courteous bow.

一家刚刚装修好的餐厅,一进门就被它的特色设计迷住了!味道表现绝对过关! 每道菜都让我觉得老板是真心在用心做品质。

Came to try Dim Sum, the decor and atmosphere starts out pleasant, but slowly turns chaotic as customers are forced to play dodge ball with the waiters with food pasting thru the same tight hallway as the waiting area. The layout of this restaurant needs to be reconsidered for more customers volume. The food delivery was also quite confusing as we got several wrong or missing orders.
