Let me preface I’m comparing this to fine dining, and not the regular Caribbean restaurants you find around the city. This place is above and beyond those. I’m holding them to a higher standard which they deserve. So this place is great. The atmosphere is wonderful, it’s nicely decorated without being tacky. Nothing taped to the wall, no push pins in sight, and it’s clean and neat. The menu is solid. It’s not overly packed, it’s well organized, but still has something for everyone. The food presentation was beautiful, and not just slapped together. This was plated, not dished. I had the jerk pork. Again, remember I’m rating this against high end establishments. The rice and peas were a bit dry. I’m used to fluffier rice with more moisture. The jerk pork was seasoned to perfection, and this is real jerk. It was Smokey, and rendered amazingly, but it was just a tad dry. However they have an extra sauce bowl on the side, use it for the flavour, not because there’s anything wrong here. I’d happily return with friends to give them some great Jamaican cuisine.

I ordered a curried chicken roti it was very salty and bland. I could only eat a few bites because of my hypertension. I am very disappointed as this is not the first time I have ordered from this restaurant. This is not how ⁰Caribbean Restaurants'food should taste 🙃👎

Andre impeccably executed his duties in creating a delightful dining experience by fostering a welcoming ambiance and offering delectable cuisine that tantalized the taste buds. However, it was observed that the absence of blinds and air conditioning posed a minor inconvenience to the overall experience. The addition of blinds would serve to regulate the natural light entering the space, enhancing the comfort of the patrons by reducing glare and providing a sense of privacy. Similarly, the installation of air conditioning would ensure optimal temperature control, creating a more enjoyable environment for guests to relish their dining experience without discomfort. Addressing these concerns would undoubtedly elevate the already exceptional service provided by Andre, further solidifying the establishment as a top destination for discerning diners seeking both impeccable hospitality and gastronomic satisfaction. Had a wonderful experience with my husband today. Was our first time at this establishment and we weren’t disappointed. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with a smile and a friendly hello. The food was so fresh and the portions were just perfect. We had the fried chicken and curry goat with the vegetable soup as starters.. All I can say is that we will definitely be eating here again.

This is a great spot if you want some good carribean cooking. I was there for my brother-in-laws birthday celebration and the food was amazing! the jerk chicken with fries with oxtail gravy appetizer and the flitters was oh sooooo good. To drink they have an amazing variety of drinks. I had The Scotthill won't tell you what's in it 'cause you have to go and find out for yourself lol! Now, when you order your dinner you get vegetable soup with your order so drink some and save some room for dinner. Everything was delicious I got the oxtail, curry goat. When I tell you it was delicious yummmmyyy! My sister and brother-in-law had the escovich fish, my niece had the boneless chicken, my husband had The Scotthill Special which includes 2 meats!!! And everything includes rice and peas, coleslaw and plaintain. The service was phenomenal as the owner of the place was active in everything from taking orders to serving. We had a great time enjoying each others company and also the atmosphere was amazing. I recommend you go and get you eat on at Scotthill caribbean cuisine!
