No tex-mex here - only authentic Mexican food - loved all the tacos, quac and drinks - i can't wait to go back. The only thing I would improve is hire waitresses that speak English- that was a bit of a struggle and can lead to misunderstandings. Overall highly recommended...

Sazón Latino is an excellent restaurant for Latinos living in Canada! This place brings a taste of home with its authentic flavors and a menu that truly captures the essence of Latin American cuisine. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for families, friends, or anyone looking to enjoy a hearty meal. One area for improvement could be the speed of service during peak hours. While the food is worth the wait, a slightly quicker turnaround time would make the dining experience even better. Highly recommended for those craving the flavors of Latin America in Canada!

Went for dinner with my girlfriend for her Birthday. The food was delish and I wish I took photos but we were so anxious to eat, I forgot. The atmosphere was warm, and inviting. There is ample seating and it looks like there is a separate section with a bar that could accommodate a party. We ordered papusas to start. Fresh and hot, and oooo so delicious. It came with 2 accoutrements, a tomato based sauce and, some sort of pickled cabbage and carrots I believe. Oh goodness, I did not speak, I just wanted to eat. I had the birria tacos, again, delicious. I was in Mexico in July, and this food at Sazon Latino was way better than that. Tasted like Abuela was in the kitchen. So so good. Highly recommend. For dessert we shared a slice of Tres Leche cake. Oh my goodness…. Fresh, moist with a beautifully smooth cream, not too sweet. Just perfect. The fresh fruit on it, fresh. We took home a sweet treat. Not sure what it’s called, cream and fruit filled, shaped like a very thick sea shell, dusted with powdered sugar. My children loved it. Again oh so so good. I will be back. A must.

It's just an overall disappointing experience. The waiter was confused by the concept of a split bill as we ordered. Food took nearly an hour to arrive. I ordered the revuelta pupusas, arrived soggy and literally dripping liquid similar to the consistency of an over easy egg. Without a doubt, the worst pupusas I've ever had. Chicharon had zero flavor. It tasted like bland rice that had the AUDACITY to call itself "Chicharon". Tasted the cheese in only one bite and the beans were liquid and flavorless. One good thing I can say is that they were pretty big. Don't come here, anyone can make better at home.

Went there for lunch around 1pm, No one was there to seat you. Find your own table. The restaurant looks nice with the upgrades, I haven't been here in years. The young Waitress was the only one there and she was just so busy behind the register picking at her nails. Pupusas were great besides that.. I don't know if I would go back..

The atmosphere is great. and the service? one of the waitress was really nice the other one not so much. But as per the food, the fried plantains were delicious, freshly made. But the chichen for the picapollo not fresh at all. My dominican wife left the 4 pieces they put in her plate. She bit one (I'll post a picture she took) and the seasoning was not bad but probably for when it was just cooked. What she got was chicken that was not crunchy (as it should) and kind of stale. Since we waited from 30 to 40 minutes (the place was literally almost empty) we thought our food was being freshly cooked. But clearly it was not.

I’ve been here quite often and from before the service and quality of food has went down tremendously and does not justify the money being spent. I had to take my husband to McDonald’s after, our plates of food went back to the kitchen, the same way they came out and we did not get offered a discount or a replacement dish or anything like that. We always get the Dominican platter and which came with salad (lettuce and tomato) which is now broccoli beans and cauliflower in salad dressing… the chicharron is always dry and very skimpy pieces, rice was dry and watery beans. A lot of fruit flies everywhere too. My family and I were repeating customers but we Will not be coming back again

Finally, a real dominican restruant in toronto. We were very excited to try some of the dishes here and it did not disappoint. Everything we had was cook fresh, hot and tasted fantastic. Finding mangu in Toronto has been a challenge and they do it really good. The staff is also very nice and helped explain the dishes that we had questions on. I would highly recommend stopping here for a meal.
