It was our first visit, and it is really a food store with prepared food available. We had to ask what was available as the black menu board was hard to read, but there is a printed menu as well. We ordered a small chevapi (5 pce), and 2 bureks (one spinach and cheese, one meat). The prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious. It can get very loud as many of the customers know each other and seem to be regulars. There was also a party of about 10 ppl enjoying a dinner as well. We will go back and will leave room for dessert!

One of the best stores in Mississauga and the GTA for cevapi. I’m not from a Balkan country but I’m so addicted to their cevapi. It’s amazing and tastes better than some of the food from my own country. I haven’t tried anything else they have to offer so I can’t comment on that, but if you’re looking for really good cevapi, I highly recommend Sarajevo.

Great value on homestyle Balkan dishes. Staff very friendly to kids. They have some European groceries in there as well so we always pick up a few items after eating there. Chevaps are my favorite dish there.

This is where we go for authentic tasty ćevapi served with lepinja bread, kajmak, and onion! As their description says, it is a unfussy cafe and food store selling Balkan goods. We also ordered some cheese burek, cheese&spinach burek, and meat burek for take out. One serving is like 4 strips and they charge per weight. They have a lot of Balkan cheese, juices, pastries, yoghurt, candies, chocolates, snacks, pasta, seasoning, ajvar, pickled peppers & cucumbers, and so on.

After 27 years in Saskatchewan, we visited Toronto, and straight from the airport, we went to this Balkan food store/restaurant, and not only owners, workers were superbly welcoming, but some fellow patrons jumped and gave us their table to enjoy ćevapčići - just unbelievable will go again for the Burek, Sudžuk 'n stuff

A taste of Bosnia in every bite! From juicy ćevapi served with bread, onions & ajvar, to delicious sarma, to buttery flaky burek. Finished our meal with a rich Turkish coffee accompanied by their yummy apple and cherry pies.. each dish was a culinary journey. The rustic charm of the restaurant adds to the authenticity, you can eat and shop for groceries at the same time. The friendly staff make the place and gives you a “at home” feeling. A special thank you to our new friend Elsa, she is great very friendly and sweet. Highly recommended!

This was my fist time trying Bosnia and Herzegovina cuisine and I fell in love with it. Their food is a good balance between Middle Eastern ad East European cuisines. This is a cozy supermarket/restaurant that offers variety of Burek, grill, platters, and roasted meat. You can also buy cold deli, dairy products, snacks, frozen meat and burek, coffee, etc. from here. We ordered Chevap’s (10p pieces) and cheese burek for our meal and Cupavi and Jabukova (they both include apples) for dessert. The portions of Chevap’s were more than enough for one person; they comecwith onions and garlic sauce and 10 pieces would be $13.72. As for the Burek and desserts, they’re priced according to their weight. The staff were friendly and patient with us, since we didn’t know what to order. I also liked the vibe there; mostly senior people from their community come together here for a chat.
