Sapore by Zafferano

I have been dining at Sapore for over ten years and am always amazed at the consistent quality of the food. I do have to highlight the service. From the first time Lucien first served me, I was very impressed at his level of professionalism. He is in a class of his own. His attention to detail, knowledge of the items on the menu and excellent recommedations make him stand out as one of the best waiters I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

I have dined here at least five times in the past two years for lunch, for dinner, with family and with friends. Everything is top notch. The decor is modern, yet comfortable. The atmosphere is usually lively with families and/or business people. The service is exceptional and carried out by long time staff some of who I'm getting to know on a first name basis. Finally and most importantly, I have eaten a variety of the food choices on the menu. The food is delicious especially the pastas and pizzas. The portions are large and prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend to visit Sapore for a modern Italian meal experience.

The service and atmosphere at Sapore is always great. The gentlemen who was looking after our table did an incredible job. The food this time was a little underwhelming, the diavola pizza was a big disappointment, I expected a lot better. The lamb and veal were cooked to perfection, I would highly recommend both dishes. There was a little miscommunication with one of the other waiters and instead of putting our leftovers in take out box, he must have thrown it out. Once again the gentlemen that looked after our table, was very professional and made it right.

If I could give them 1000 stars, I absolutely would. Lucien waited on us (table of 6 New Brunswick REALTORS®) and it was THE best service we've ever had. The establishment is gorgeous, the pictures don't do it justice, the portions were huge, the steak was perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth, the pasta was fresh and delicious, the mushroom ravioli was to die for, and our faces hurt from Lucien's company. I have no words for how beautiful and funny this human being is. We want to make a special trip from New Brunswick just to bring our families back here to experience this restaurant. Thank you, Sapore and thank you, Lucien.

Amazing Italian restaurant dining experience in Woodbridge. Had the shrimp cakes for appetizers, it was full of shrimp and no fillers. Ordered the pan seared cod with risotto, it was cooked to perfection and the dill cream was awesome. The seafood gnocchi had a stronger garlic and onion taste to it. For dessert, we had the carrot cake mixed with cheesecake, interesting combo that gives it a good texture. Our server Lucien stayed on top of our dinner to make sure items are served properly. His food recommendations were great and suited our tastes. Restaurant is nicely decorated with high ceilings. Everything was spotless from furniture to dining ware.

I took my daughter and wife here yesterday for dinner, I have to say we all had an amazing experience. The food was delicious and fresh. We all enjoyed our individual meals. The service was next level. I was so impressed with Lucien, this guy is on a whole new level with clients experience and service, absolutely the best. The atmosphere and setting was perfect for our evening. Amazing experience will definitely be back. See you soon Lucien!
