Sanuki Udon Toronto is a new restaurant in Toronto opened more than 6 months ago.
Sanuki Udon Toronto is a restaurant that specializes in Sanuki-style udon noodles. This region, also known as Kagawa, is famous for its chewy udon texture and its dashi stock, made from a special combination of kombu and bonito. Most impressively, the restaurant actually makes its own udon from scratch every day using a custom machine, which is then physically inspected to ensure freshness and consistency. The restaurant's space is warm and inviting. The prominent wooden accents bring a sort of Scandinavian-Japanese feel to the whole space. The spacious room is filled with seats that are comfortably spaced apart with a view of the open kitchen where the food is prepared.

Udon was great! Both the original and the curry udon! The staff was outstandingly amazing and nice. The udon noodles was a bit too thick to my preference but overall a great experience!

I had the pleasure of visiting this udon restaurant for the first time, and it was well worth the wait! As a huge fan of udon, I was excited to try their offerings, and they did not disappoint. While the indoor seating is limited and reservations aren't possible, I was happy to find there was no wait for a table. The menu is simple, with a focus on udon noodles and appetizers. I ordered the hot pork belly udon, and it was absolutely delicious—the broth was rich and flavorful, the perfect complement to the tender pork belly. My friend opted for the curry tonkatsu udon, which came in a generous portion, so much so that they couldn't finish it! We also shared the chicken karaage tempura, topped with bonito flakes, which added a delightful flavor and texture to the dish. The restaurant’s location is very convenient, making it an easy spot to return to. Overall, I was very satisfied with the food and can't wait to try more udon dishes on my next visit!

Good ambiance and music as well as nice service. The karaage was a highlight. Juicy, crispy, large portion. Udon had a good amount of bounce. I think the soup udon was better than the mazemen udon, but both were good.

Had the M7 Signature Wagyu Beef Udon for main the broth was light and a bit salty. Quick service. However, I wish the tables were a bit bigger or the timing between appetizer and main were timed properly. The mains came quickly, and there wasn't much room to put it on the table along with the appetizer, especially if you ordered more than one.

Had a very good experience here. The service was quite nice and the atmosphere was relaxing and very clean. The portions were great for the price and the flavors were pretty good. Loved the textures in the food. It was nice and refreshing without being too heavy.
