(Visited on Dec 8/24 at 12PM for dine in lunch) Haven't had Santosei since before COVID - I believe in 2019, and first time at this location. Went early for lunch so not a lot of customers there but some trickled in. Place was clean, service was fast, loved all the wood accents inside. Ordered the Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen - while this Ramen is fine and I'm sure people love it - for me and all my GTA Ramen adventures it doesn't rank that highly. Not that there's anything wrong with it, my taste is just subjective. The thick noodles and broth were delicious, the pork chashu was soft, bit too many mushrooms (forgot to say no mushrooms so that's my fault). It's a solid Ramen place for sure just not for me - but definitely worth trying out, especially if you're in the area. Santosei Ramen is still delicious just not my fave nor will it be my go to that's all.

We tried tonkotsu+, tomato and simple set. The broths are great. But the ramen itself is not the traditional yellow kind but instead is more Chinese style.

I came at around 6:30pm and ordered Spicy Tantan. I had problem with the service I received. The store was not packed yet; there were empty tables so I did not have to wait. About 10 more minutes after, a lot more people came and a few had to wait for their table. I ordered at the same time with the table right next to me (2 guests). They had their food (3 items) about 10 mins after they ordered. For me, however, the food came about 20 minutes after I ordered, and this was just me order only ONE single bowl. I saw the table in front of me with 3 guests who came in after me, and even they had their ramen came out before me. Is this a possible discrimination because I came by myself and ordered only 1 item??? I thought it would be a smarter choice to serve me fast so that you guys will have a table soon for the other guests who were waiting in line at the time. The ramen also did not taste good. The Spicy Tantan Men I ordered was not spicy at all, compared to what I had at the location near Yonge & Eglinton. The broth felt a tad heavier too.

Delicious everytime. This is my go to ramen spot. Small intimate setting, shared tables if need be. Everything on the menu is good. I get the Tonkotsu Black and a side of Zangi chicken. Broth is so flavourful, fried chicken is cooked perfectly and lemony. Service here is top notch. Our server always had his eyes on the floor making sure everyone is attended to. I’ve been here many times and will be back many more!

WORTH IT! Guys, this is probably the best ramen I've ever had! It was sooo goood! I had the Tonkotsu Black! It was really flavourful and super balanced. The egg was perfect! Nice and soft and creamy-like. The broth! Omg the broth was sooo goood! Slightly salty and a yummy garlic flavour! The meat was also perfectly cooked and the portion was worth it! The ramen was so good that everytime I tried to make a post on my social media about it, I actually had to put my phone down to just enjoy it. So delicious. I also had the original gyoza. It was okay. I thought they were wayy too oily though. They were a bit flavourless. I'm not sure if they were just flavourless or they lose their flavor in all the oil. Even when I dipped them in the sauce, the sauce would just slip off and I'd taste nothing. THAT'S how oily they were. I wouldn't recommend this if that's how they usually fry them. BUT THE RAMEN! Get it! I spent a total of $30 (including a 15% tip). The server was kind. I felt welcomed. She greeted me and wished me a good day when I left. First glass of water had something in it so I asked her to change it. She apologized and changed it. The dining room area was calming and chill. It has a very nice atmosphere, especially since the restaurant isn't too big. It gives it a kind of homy feel to it which was nice. The bathroom is decently clean. Could be a bit more clean but otherwise I have no complaints.

Ordered the promotion 40$ combo (location specific) yesterday. Very fast service, barely four minutes of wait time before we got our ramen. Very friendly staff, calm atmosphere, and the zangi chicken was incredibly flavourful. Overall, great experience!

Food: 5 Stars Service: 5 Stars Ambience: 4 Stars Value: 5 Stars Overall: 4.5 Stars If you are looking for a great place to enjoy a warm bowl of Ramen during the chilly winter season, then you must visit the Sansotei Ramen located in Yonge and Finch area. I’m a big fan of their ramen at the 9555 Yonge St Unit 12, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 9M5 location and I was not disappointed here. This location is a part of the Sansotei Ramen franchise, known for its delightful staff, rich broth, and mouth-watering ramen. Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by a friendly staff that is always ready to make your dining experience memorable. The menu is short and to the point, featuring only the best and most authentic Ramen dishes. The broth, which is the cornerstone of any Ramen dish, is a blend of tonkatsu and is rich in flavour, providing the perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness. I personally prefer the tick noodles, perfect chewiness and just a great bite. The cha shu pork belly is melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the creamy ajitsuke tomago ramen egg provides an added depth of flavour to the dish. In addition, the Spicy TanTan noodles are a must-try for those who crave a unique twist on the traditional ramen experience. This dish is characterized by its tantalizing combination of heat and taste. The spiciness level is just right, adding a bold and fiery edge to the dish without overwhelming the taste buds. The noodles are cooked to perfection and blend seamlessly with the rich and flavorful broth, creating an unbeatable combination of texture and taste. Whether you’re a fan of spicy food or simply seeking to add some excitement to your meal, the Spicy TanTan noodles at Sansotei Ramen are sure to deliver. The Spicy Slow Cooked Wings are also a great appetizer or side to pair with your ramen, delicious bold and spicy flavours. The wings are cooked to perfection, ensuring a juicy and tender interior, while the crispy exterior packs a fiery punch. The spicy glaze is well-balanced and does not overpower the natural flavour of the chicken. These wings are sure to leave a lasting impression on your taste buds and are a must-try for those who appreciate both heat and flavour. The servers are attentive, professional and always willing to help. If you want to enjoy your Ramen without any disturbance, then the music playing in the background is just the right volume. The tables are higher than usual, making it comfortable to slurp and enjoy your Ramen. Parking is available in front of the restaurant, with a paid option, or you can park for free at 500 Doris Ave within a short walk. Just mention that you are coming from Sansotei Ramen and parking on the commercial side when you buzz in. In conclusion, Sansotei Ramen located in Yonge and Finch is another great franchised location that offers a fantastic ramen experience. The broth, noodles, and toppings are all fresh and delicious, and the servers are always ready to help. If you are a Ramen lover, then you must visit this location. kellychan360

A bowl of Ramen during a cold rainy day or winter always hits the spot, and this is the best spot in the area for it. The restaurant is clean with friendly staff, however, parking is kinda hard since they're on a small road off of Yonge Update - came back to visit and ordered Tonkotsu Black ramen, zangi chicken and mango cheesecake and the quality is j ust as good as pre pandemic
