I recently had the pleasure of dining with my family, and let me tell you, it was an experience worth savoring. From start to finish, the service was impeccable—every member of the staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. A special shout-out to the team for their warm hospitality! Now, let’s talk about the food. The paneer tikka was out of this world—perfectly seasoned, tender, and grilled to perfection. The crispy veg was just as delightful, crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor on the inside. And don’t even get me started on the mojito; it was a refreshing masterpiece that left me wanting more. To the girls working there—y’all know how to create a dining experience that’s both classy and unforgettable. Cheers to you for making the night so special. Keep serving those smiles and that top-notch food!

I’ve visited several branches of this hotel chain in India, so I had high expectations when I decided to have dinner here, specifically craving a sizzler. Atmosphere: The ambiance and seating were decent, though nothing particularly outstanding. Food: We ordered the Indi-Chini Sizzler on the recommendation of our server, as we requested something with a spicy kick. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet our expectations. The sizzler was a mix of fried rice, noodles, and paneer, but it lacked any distinct or memorable flavors. As someone who’s enjoyed sizzlers from many places, I can say this was among the most disappointing in terms of taste. Hygiene: While they served water in silver glasses, which added a nice touch, I noticed small flies around our plates during the meal, which was concerning for the overall hygiene. Overall, this experience didn’t align with the quality I’ve come to expect from this chain in India.

Had a great time at Sankalp! I tried the Chettinad dosa, paper dosa, and bhaji dosa – wow, everything was so tasty! The dosas were crispy, packed with flavor, and honestly some of the best I've had. Plus, they give unlimited sambar and chutney, which I loved, especially because the chutneys were amazing! I've been to a few South Indian spots, but this one definitely stands out. They’re generous with portions, not stingy like some other places. Our server, Daisy, was super nice and friendly too, making the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be back!

*READ THE FULL REVIEW* Went here for the first time with great expectations but it turned out to be a horrible one. Firstly, we ordered Dabeli and it was cold as if it was prepared since 2-3 hours. Then we ordered Paneer Dosa and the dosa itself was sour. Then the staff made mistake by giving us cheese corn dosa instead of maysoor dosa which we ordered. (This thing could be counted as exception. Then, the crispy veg dish was also flavour less, the staff replaced it and gave us a more flavoured dish. The lassi and chaas was not as good. NOW COMES THE MOST HORRIBLE PART... I ordered extra sambhar and guess what, there was a COCKROACH in it. At first glance it seemed like some masala but when i took it out of the bowl, it was a dead cockroach. I cannot believe that a very well known place like this could have sooo many quality control issues. Even the washrooms didn't have soap in soap dispensers. I mean this particular restaurant has crossed all the limits of quality control issues.

Food is delicious here. Spice level is as good as indians expect. All the food that we’ve tried so far was so good. Must try Mexican Tortilas Soup if you’re thinking of soups. Frankie and Samosa is really good. Other than that we wanted to try idli wada, it wasn’t available may be because it’s usually sold out in morning.

The food was absolutely delightful, with rich flavors and generous portions that left us fully satisfied. The pricing is quite reasonable, offering great value for money. The atmosphere was enhanced by excellent sound quality, creating a pleasant dining environment. The service was impeccable, with staff who were not only attentive but also went out of their way to make sure every guest felt well taken care of. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience that I would highly recommend.”

We dined at Sankalp Restaurant in Mississauga and enjoyed a fantastic meal, including dosa, upma, utappam, and the highlight—vada dipped in sambar. The staff were the best I've ever encountered, and the ambiance and taste were exceptional. The experience was so delightful that I postponed my trip and stayed extra days just to eat here! Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic and delicious South Indian cuisine.

Not recommended at all. Better look for somewhere else. High steep prices and low in taste. Well the service was average. Atmosphere too was below expectations. Overall not worthy for a second return for visiting for south Indian taste. Although I am a fan of south Indian preparation’s and have lot of experience in this context, this was quite below average. Never expected this experience in Toronto. There is a lot of room for improving the taste and service.
