Sangeetha Restaurant delivered a delightful dining experience with delicious food that our entire family enjoyed. The dishes were flavorful and authentic, showcasing the quality the restaurant is known for. While the service was a bit inconsistent—some orders were delayed—the waitress was quick to apologize and took prompt action to address the issue, which we appreciated. The only letdown was the filter coffee, as its consistency and taste didn’t meet expectations. We shared our feedback with the manager, who received it graciously. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with room for slight improvement in service. We’d still recommend Sangeetha for its tasty food and welcoming atmosphere.

After searching for a long time,found this best South Indian veg restaurant. The ambience and food and service was perfect. Enjoyed the food and service was clean and polite. Absolutely recommend visiting here 👍

Hi foodies we were at sangeetha on Sunday nov 17. Not a great experience with service on a slow day with four tables with 2 servers. Took a while before taking orders and our appetizers includes bowl of rasam, panner 65, gobi 65, sambar vada and mini sambar idly. All these orders brought to our table on a inconsistent manner added idly podi brought to our table when we almost finished our idly. Then we had two sangeetha thali which we all are pretty happy with after a rough start. I personally think adding fried buttermilk chilli would enhance the thali since its south indian. Coffee and tea were on the warm pleasurable side. Will visit again hopefully management improves their quality in service and quality in their food as well. Thank you.

Tasty South Indian Food. Enjoyed with family. Dosas, Parrota, Tiffin Combo, Onion Pakoras and Puries are really tasty and fresh. Service was excellent. With much expectation ordered Madras Filter Coffee highly recommended by our friends but it was a flop a little disappointment. Rest all are excellent. Don’t miss try once.

I recently tried the idly wada combo platter, Mysore masala, and Mysore masala cheese dosa. The dishes came with three chutneys—my favorite was the coconut one—and a bowl of sambhar that was delicious when served hot. The idli was fresh and spongy, and the vada was soft and flavorful. However, I found the mozzarella cheese in the Mysore masala dosa didn’t quite work for me; a different cheese might complement the dish better. On a positive note, the service from Nalina and Hely was quick and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance is simple and quiet, perfect for a relaxing meal. I look forward to trying more dishes in the future

Quality vegetarian food, a tad pricey, but worth the food. Seating is very spacious compared to other similar restaurants. Lighting (probably aimed to replicate posh environment) can be improved, but reflects right in face from plates. Service was great. Sambar mini idly was excellent and mushroom dosa was awesome

So happy to see another all vegetarian South Indian place open in Scarborough ❣️Although we haven't tried at original locatio in Chennai..we are becoming fans of this location!We had opportunity to taste out most of dishes in couple of our visits and each time the taste has been consistent!The accompaniments - sambar and chutneys are always fresh even if you go closer to the closing time!It's not watered down or become sour.Recent favorite or late revelation has been Gobi 65!So greasy and tasty😋We didn't fall for the IG trap of 5ft or Family Dosa😎Instead,at same cost you can try multiple delicacies.The place is very spacious,has good parking space and staff and service is nearly perfect..although sometimes there is minor things like staff need to reminded one or more times for additional requests!The food is also relatively served fast.The most economic dish would be the Mini Tiffin Combo..where you get to sample all the dishes+filter coffee for $14.99.So far we are definitely happy customers and look forward to more happy eating adventures at Sangeetha - Scarborough!

♥️ Dear Sangeetha, Thank you for making our dinner experience truly memorable. We had a delightful evening at your restaurant, and the food was exceptional. There were four of us, and we ordered a variety of dishes to share: Masala Dosa, Plain Dosa, Mini Idly, and Poori. Each dish had its unique flavors and was prepared with great care. • Masala Dosa: The dosa was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, filled with a flavorful potato masala that was spiced just right. • Plain Dosa: Simple yet delicious, the plain dosa was accompanied by a range of chutneys and sambar that complemented it beautifully. • Mini Idly: These bite-sized idlis were soft and fluffy, served with a rich and tangy sambar that added a burst of flavor. • Poori: The pooris were light and puffed to perfection, served with a savory potato curry that was absolutely delicious. The quality of the food was outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoyed each dish. However, we did feel that the portion sizes were a bit on the smaller side. It would be wonderful if you could consider increasing the quantities to better satisfy your guests. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we have no other complaints.
