Second time ordering from San Sivar and I remembered why I never went back from the first time. The pupusas barely has the ingredients. I’m only giving 2 stars for the food because I ordered pupusas revueltas (cheese, beans and pork) and the cheese and beans were never seen. The pupusas were delicious, the flavours are there but unfortunately not enough ingredients for me. The service for pick up was friendly and fast except for the guy who checked me out and didn’t even say hi or thank you.

I go here for the papusas, and they’re fantastic and very authentic. Delicious, filling and a great deal.

Do not come for tamales they were frozen and was not told was expecting fresh or at least hot food. They were rude but their Papusa was pretty good all they got to offer, to be honest

A 3 1/2 really. The pupusas were crispier than I normally have had, but still tasted really good. The platanos con frijoles y crema was excellent. Where they lost me was on the curtido - this is normally fermented, and juicy, here it was dry, and that’s where they lost a star for me. If I’m back in the area I’d eat here again.

Friendly simple clean place that's bigger than expected. Sadly, poorly textured greasy mushy pupusas $3 with no discernible pork, cheese or beans inside, just mush. Sweet fried plantains $6 with sour cream and beans were much better than the pupusas. They were out of horchata and tamarindo. They were also out of fried yucca. She forgot to ask me to pay at the cash register.

My husband and I finally tried this restaurant in the neighbourhood and love it. Delicious Salvadorian food. The staff are so hardworking and put so much love into the food they make! The bean and cheese pupusa is so good... l will keep coming back for more! I also really enjoyed the perfectly made plantain. The tamarind juice is good, not too sweet or tangy. I can’t wait to try more menu items… but from what I hear, it’s the pupusas that will keep you coming back for more! Thank you San Sivar for introducing us to authentic Salvadorian pupusas!

Really enjoyed the authentic food here. I've been to quite a few salvadorian restaurants and this one has the best pupusas. Thick, cheesy and tasty. Prices are fair. I have ordered the fried yuca and fried plantain, both well done.

This is our first time to have dinner here. We ordered grilled shrimps and grilled steak with onions. Great food and we are so full. Will definitely come back. Thank you.
