If you haven’t gone to this restaurant, you need to go. You are seriously missing out! This restaurant is one half of a Seafood market. And honestly, that’s why whatever you order will always be the freshest you have tasted. It has limited seating so reservations are a must. Our friends recommended the restaurant as they had been before. So we decide to go as a group. Reservations were made a week in advance. Coming in, one of the owners was shaking everyone’s hands and welcoming them as if he knew everyone personally. They really do try to make people feel like family around here. We got the table by the window. They have limited seating and as such, the tables are a bit closer together. With the window near us, I felt less like we were near the larger group. For appetizers, we ordered the fried smelt (which I haven’t had in years!), the calamari, and the bruschetta. Everything was so fresh! Just a little sprinkle of lemon or a bit of aioli, and it was ready to eat! The portions were generous and took a while to finish. There was no pressure to eat faster. Our server just watched for us to get near the end of our appetizers so he could tell the kitchen to get started on our entrees. Entrees were salmon (with veggies and with salad), the Gamberi alla Diavola, and the pasta special of the day. We ordered a side of fries for the table but it wasn’t necessary because the portions were very filling without. For dessert, we got the blueberry cheesecake to share (just so we could each have a small bite of something sweet to end the night), and coffee. Everything from the first bite to the last was fresh, delicious and a treat to eat. We had no complaints at all. Our server Thomas was a gentleman. He was very attentive yet never imposed. He made recommendations and asked questions. We explained our dietary concerns and he helped us to pick what we could eat. Our friends wanted wine and he was very informative. The siblings who are owners came by to check on us and make conversation. We had no idea they close at 10, and were still eating and enjoying our coffee past 1030, when we realized. But they didn’t ask us to leave. They assured us that there were others still there and just to enjoy our food. It’s this kind of family environment that we love. They are all just genuine people. We are already talking about going back to try other things. Thanks for making our evening enjoyable!

Positive Review “I had an amazing experience at SAN ANTONIO The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Italian food. has a lovely atmosphere, and the service was friendly. However, I felt that the calamari and shrimp could have been more flavorful or seasoned differently. ,this place could be amazing.

I’ve never had such fresh seafood in the GTA. Delicious. Authentic. Affordable for the portions at hand. Unreal variety and quantity given to us. Absolute gem! Service was so kind, and overall everything was perfect. Risotto in white wine sauce was SO GOOD. Creamy and delicious. HUGE portions, LOTS of seafood, worth every penny!

Gotta say this is an amazing restaurant and a hidden gem. I thought it was just a seafood market but it's also a restaurant with amazing service and food. Five stars might seem like an exaggeration but I had a great time. The fish and chips are phenomenal, the seafood pasta just outrageously good, and the oysters fresh. Spent around $80 with tip for all of this, so if you're looking for a good restaurant for a date or just an amazing Italian seafood come here!

The freshest fish you can fine in the city. It’s a restaurant/ marketplace of seafood. Name it and they have. Pasta, mussels, grilled fish, fried fish. Honestly one the best places I have been in a longtime for seafood. The best part is the prices are fairly reasonable. Great place for family and friends.

Had Sunday lunch there. Patio was busy, not inside. Plenty of space. Main dishes portion was quite big so we could eat at 2 adults + 2 young kids. Fish & chips was not greasy and nice. Rosé pasta with mussels, shrimps & clams was also very well cooked & flavorful. Ended up $62 before tip. Also has nice market/pantry with some items & seafood (like cod, GF past, ..) which looked nicely priced.

My guest and I had calamari, the king crab papardelle and the grilled tiger shrimp and risotto. The calamari portion was generous, the pasta was delicious (I wish there was more crab however) and the shrimp dish was tasty! It was a great experience overall!

Wow. This spot is beyond delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. Everything tasted delicious. And everything was FRESH. From the seafood to the meat, it was all fantastic. The service was really fast I was so shocked to see how everything came out together. The seafood spaghetti was sensational. All the blend of flavours went so well together I was actually blown away. I had a little bit of everything and it was all 10/10. I highly recommend you come here for any occasion and you will not be disappointed. Its also a cool experience because majority of the spot is a seafood market and the restaurant is only a small section of the place. Definitely going to come back and try something new!!
