Amazing food, tastes just like the food you get in Indonesia. Lots of variety, and the people are very kind and nice. Good service! Their nasi rendang and sop buntut is exceptionally delicious. Also ordered the bakso rudal for take out, it’s HUGE but it tastes amazing!

Absolutely delicious!! What I would tell everyone to order would be their skewers. The juiciest skewers I’ve ever had and the best peanut sauce I’ve ever had. The sauce doesn’t over power the skewer and if you just want to enjoy the sauce, there are rice cakes that come with it that are nice and doughy. The Tongseng curry was so flavourful! I ate almost all of my rice with just putting the curry onto it. Will steam some rice at home to eat the rest of the remaining curry. The fried chicken was nice and crunchy! We picked it clean. We were recommended a Cendol, a coconut drink, and if you like sweet and coconut flavours, you will adore this drink! We will be looking forward to coming back :)

As with other reviews, the place is small but it is only run by two people (I assume husband and wife) Very sweet couple. They do all the cooking, all the cleaning and all the service! Wait time for a place like this is absolutely understandable. The food was like regular home cooked Indo food. I'm impressed they keep such a large menu of Indo dishes. That's not easy to maintain for a cuisine not many people know. Reasonably priced. More than fair portions. Its not a fancy dine in place, so do not expect side table service. Overall a good experience.

Seriously delicious mom and pop run shop. May be the best Indonesian food ive ever had (though I've never been to Indonesia). Very few tables inside. I'm sure some of the food would be great as takeout.

Outstanding Malaysian / Indonesian street food, close to airport. Highly recommended. Simple small place but food is to die for.

You can dine-in but it has limited capacity. Around 10 seats available. The variety of Indonesian food they offer, on the other hand, is plenty. Soups, noodles, rice dishes, appetizers. We ordered Soto Betawi, Nasi Uduk (Indonesian version of Nasi Lemak) with fried chicken (you'll get fried tofu and stir fried soun with the meal), Batagor and Mie Tek Tek. The Batagor is awesome. We love it. It has peanut sauce poured over it. The fried chicken is perfect. As well as their nasi uduk and fried tempeh. The Mie TekTek and Soto Betawi are so so. Overall, it is a pleasant experience. Their cuisine has the Indonesian aura all over. So it would be a great place to satisfy your craving for Indonesian dishes.

Went to this place recently and everything was great and delicious. Chicken Papes is my favourite so far. The portion sizes are good. If you don’t like drinks which are super sweet please do not order the tea they have on the menu.

During our recent visit to Samara Kitchen, The establishment exudes the warmth of a family-owned business, accommodating diners with a handful of tables Our gastronomic journey here featured a range of offerings. While the Nasi Rendang beef left us somewhat underwhelmed, not fully grasping the array of spices and flavors it promised, it was still a decent introduction to Indonesian cuisine. A pleasant surprise was the spicy beef fried rice, offering a delightful balance of heat and spices We also opted for the skewers - available in beef and chicken, paired with rice cakes. This dish was fairly satisfactory, giving a nod to the authentic street food culture in Indonesia The restaurant offers good value for money, ensuring patrons receive a fair quantity and quality for the price paid If you are in the mood to experience Indonesian cuisine in a homely setting, coupled with a smile, Samara Kitchen deserves a spot on your list.
