Nestled in the heart of Toronto’s Entertainment District, Saint John's Tavern is more than just a local pub - it's a blend of comfort and hospitality, wrapped in a gorgeous130-year-old building. It’s the perfect escape, just steps away from all the city's top attractions. Just a few steps upstairs is our cozy Oyster House & Raw Bar. It's an intimate space where you can indulge in fresh oysters, seafood towers, and lobster rolls, accompanied by fine wines and classic cocktails. Take advantage of our Happy Hour from 4pm-6pm everyday with buck-a-shuck-oysters and ½ off bottles (over 30 to choose from) of wine. Saint John's Tavern is the spot for every occasion - from early evening to the late hours.

Cozy Christmas feel in December. The fish and chips were very good - crispy and thin on the outside and flaky on the inside. The espresso martini was strong but sweet, excellent. Overall, good vibes, drinks, and food.

My family and I went here for dinner to switch things up and it was 10/10!! The vibes and ambience were amazing and so was our server! He was very attentive, patient and kind. We went on a Monday and they had $10 martinis, mussels and truffle fries and it was delicious! I had the Mac and cheese with lobster and I highly recommend!! The food was served hot and very quickly! I’ll definitely be going back soon:)

We tried out St. John’s Tavern and loved the drinks, shareable food and kind service. They have multiple rooms and a fabulous menu of seafood but also other items like sandwiches and mac and cheese. Such a fun spot I loved the Halloween decor they had as well!! Highly recommend would come back

The seafood was super fresh and they were very generous with the amount of lobster in the lobster pasta. Also, our server was super attentive and made the experience for us. Will definitely be coming back.

Atmosphere and food were great! The patio looked very cozy (reminded me of New York in the romcoms). We sat inside, which was beautiful and had a stunning bar. The food was great - we really liked the oysters, biscuits, and crab cake sliders. Mal was so sweet! Such a fun place. First time here and it was a great experience! The server Mal was wonderful and extremely pleasant to deal with. The drinks and appetizers were excellent, mains were great and the dessert options were unique to anything I’ve seen before. This is definitely a great stop if you’re bar-hopping or even for a stand alone visit, can’t wait to come back!

I came here specifically for the oysters, but they weren’t great—there were a lot of shells in them. The cocktails were just okay. On the positive side, the staff were great, and the atmosphere was nice. The food overall wasn’t anything special, but it’s an alright spot if you’re looking for a few drinks or a chill happy hour.

Food was decent. Nothing to write home about. The ceasar salad had bacon on it and I didn't realize it so I was picking it off since I haven't eaten red meat in years. Otherwise nothing to complain about. Decent service. A lot of people were there to watch a game.
